Kid's Question

Kids P.O.V
As we rose onto our feet, I couldn't help but flutter at her beautifully symmetrical features. There was something about her that made me feel something that I've never felt before, butterflies.
She casually looked at her shiny watch, and reacted like she had just seen a ghost.

"oh SHOOT! I have to get home." She said as she lifted her head back to me, and smiled in a way that told me that she was sorry to end the conversation like that.

" That's ok I guess, don't worry. I better get going to."

Your P.O.V

I was just about to walk past until he grabbed my wrist lightly, creating a wave of excitement in my stomach.

I look at him astonished by his actions, trying my best not to blush, but failing miserably.

-Why has he stopped me? Oh My God is he going do what you think he is?-

"Hey, uh i was just wondering if you..." -Yes go on! - I thought
" ...would like to ...to .......hang out with us tomorrow?"

-Damn! - I thought. - Although its still a start.-

"That sounds nice." I said keeping it cool,

He let go of my wrist and smirked. "Great! See you tomorrow then. Meet us at the front of the school, before first period." He said. He then turned the sharp corner and contiued to walk to lord deaths office.

Kids P.O.V
As I turned the corner I just slapped myself on the forehead.
" Really kid? Is that the best you could come up with? Oh god Kid, your so stupid!"

Your P.O.V

As I ran down the street on my way home, it got darker and darker, until I finally got home safely. Explaining the reason I'm late will be a tough one. Mum 's going to need a GOOD reason.

The squeaky door made its usual sound, and sitting in the everyday chair, was my mother reading 'City of Bones'?
This isn't like her. She never reads books. Even on her phone.
She didn't notice me until I closed the door. She immediately looked up from the good read, attempting to pull off a serious face. "Where the hell have you been? I was worried sick! As you can tell! I had to pull out a demon book to calm me down! "
This conversation lasted a while, since I had to explain myself. I told her about everything. The Note, staying after class, even the incident with Kid.

Although Mum was surprisingly calm and excited for me about what's happened. Since I tell her everything, she had heard about him a lot.
" Thats great hunny, I'm really happy for you!" She practically forgot about the whole 'late' business in the end.
That night, I had dinner, and went to bed.
All I was thinking about was how Kid was blushing, and stuttered when speaking to me. Why?

I noticed that the moon seemed to grow a liking to me. As it had been staring at me for a few hours now.
Not the most comforting feeling, but overall I did feel safe knowing that I was being watched over night from my window. I closed my eyes and rolled over, slowly drifting off to sleep.
