"So what's on the agenda today?" I asked as we loaded up in the Impala, in search of a new job. "Can we hunt something neat?"

Dean started the engine and began to drive. "Define neat."

I began to think of things that where 'neat' to me. "Drive around, find demons."

"Ha! That's funny, Lori, but that's not how it works," Sam chuckled. I know I'm his sister, but his laugh is nice, it makes me smile.

We drive by some half burnt down house, police tape wrapped around the whole property. "Hey, look at that!" I pointed at the home that interested me so much. "We shall investigate!"

Dean hit the breaks as I opened the car door. "Why the hell, Willow!" He swore at me. "Jesus, close the door!"

I closed the door, a squeaky noise formed as the door moved in to a lock. "Park over there," I said and mentioned to across the street from the house. Dean did as I said, parking right where I wanted. "Now come on!" I waved my hand and ran across the street to the house. A melted angel statue stood by what used to be the front door.

The house was a burnt blue, black in the completely ruined parts. The door, a semi glossy white.

"Damn, this was a bad fire." I glanced over all the charcoaled walls. "Think some demon did this?"

As inspecting, Sam sighed with an "I'm not entirely sure, but I think a demon was apart of this."

I stepped up onto the porch, something burning my foot, through my show. "Ow! Holy..." I mumbled the rest, trying not to swear. Yes, I swear a lot, but I try not to. "What is this stuff?"

Dean rushed up. "Salt." He mumbled.

"I thought salt couldn't hurt me?" I winced in pain, hoping on my left foot to the yard to sit down. "It burned through my shoe. How does salt even do that?"

Dean, examining my shoe, blinked twice. "I mean, you're part demon, so at times salt and iron are going to hurt like hell."

"I am from hell, Dean." I corrected him along with an eye roll.

Sam began to look for a way in without anyone seeing. "Over here," he directed us the the right side of the house. "This window's open."

I struggled to stand up, then climbed in the window after my brothers. Huh, I haven't seen Rogue in s while? Oh, the salt. I wonder who put salt around the house?

The house was quiet inside, nearly everything ruined. Who lived here? Obviously whoever lived here had to know something about the fire.

Later after inspecting the house, Sam researched stuff on the house, while I laid around on another new motel bed, wondering where Rogue went; he's been gone quite some time.

This is now how I'm going to live, either in Dean's Impala, or in some motel. Good thing only I can see Rogue, otherwise no motel would let him in.

I sat up, pulling an old bouncy ball out of my Bon Jovi hoodie pocket. Bounced it for a good six minutes before it drive Sam insane. "Lori, why don't you play with your Hound?"

"Well," I hesitated. "I can't."

Sam turned slowly in the office chair. A serious look, "Why?"

I bounced the purple glittered ball a few more times. "It's been a few nights since I've seen him."

Dean was out getting us some fast food from McDonald's, my favorite. French fries and the nuggets are my absolute drug.

"So your literally demon dog," Sam took deep breathes "Is out there running around doing god-knows-what?" He spun back around in his chair, typing incredibly fast. If he's doing research on Hellhounds I will be so happy. "Here, it says that they obey demons, but at times will wonder off, sometimes go wild and have no control..."

I walked up behind him, looking over his shoulder. It read "There is no way to get them to act tamed again, unless you-" I couldn't read on. Because it then said "Unless you kill it."

No. Nope. Not going to fucking happen. "Sam, I can't. I can't kill Rogue."

He turned in the computer chair, laptop in his lap. "It's our only choice."

"But," I covered my mouth, keeping myself from crying. "He's the closest thing I have to understand me. Understanding what it's like to be half demon! Salt, iron, holy water... All that can hurt me so bad."

Just then, Dean came in with some McDonald's paper bags, he saw me nearly crying. "You told her?"

"Wait, you knew?" Now I have to process this through my head. They knew. Both of them. Didn't even have the guts to tell me.

Dean set the bags down on the bed. He held up his phone. "Messaging." Is all he could say. Not "I'm so sorry" or anything. Just "Massaging."

I feel so idiotic. Of course they'll be ok it's this. They kill my mind every day. Killing a Hellhound won't hurt 'em one bit.

A giant, red eyed, black dog jumped through the wall at me. I screamed and ducked down, the dog landing on me. But, all it did was crawl behind me and whimper. This was a Hellhound. My Hellhound.

Dean looked at me as if I was crazy as hell. "What- What are you doing, Lori?"

I sat up, giving Rogue some room. "It's Rogue!" I said happily. "He's alright!"

Sam looked around. "Just... Out of no where?" He grabbed salt and holy water just in case. "Is he trying to hurt you?"

"No," I laughed slightly. "Nothing's wrong, he's alright, and so am I." I hugged my Hound that was only visible to me. "Dean, Sam, I'm sorry."

Dean, food already in his mouth, waved his hand at me like this whole thing didn't matter. Sam set down the salt and holy water. "We can't kill him," Sam sighed. "You're right, he's too important to you."

I smiled, standing up hugging Sam. "Thanks. You know what, I love you both."

Dean cringed at the word "love". "No way, Lori, I don't do that crap."

I let go of Sam, and coughed Dean before he could get away. Woah, I have a bit of speed. I mean, I'm half demon so it makes sense. "Get over here you asshat." I wrapped Dean into a huge hug. "There's no escape now."
