It was about 6 in the morning, the guys were still asleep, we found a hotel last night. The genie massacre happened a few nights back.
So, being the amazing sister I am, I'm going out to get my brothers some coffee.
On my way walking to Starbucks, which happens to be the nearest coffee shop, I stepped on something on the sidewalk. I lifted up my foot to see a small, fury- whatever the hell it was on a key chain. I picked it up, shrugged, shoved it in my pocket, and continued on my way.
As I walked into the Starbucks, I went up to the counter to order some drinks.
"Young lady, someone ordered these three limited time only coffees and didn't show up to get them, would you like to take them for free?" The cashier asked, me nodding with a smile. "Sure! Thanks!" I took the coffees and made my way back to the hotel. The guys were sitting around, Sam doing research, Dean looking at his knife.
"I have coffee!" I smiled. "Didn't spend a single penny!" Dean asked "How'd you do that?" I replied "Someone ordered them but never took them, and they were offered to me! Isn't that lucky?"
Sam laughed in disbelief. "That's no luck, just happened to happen."
I rolled my eyes. "Here's your coffee, non luck believer." Then, I remembered some scratch tickets I've had for a month now just sitting in my pocket. "Dean, do you think we'll win the thousand dollar prize with this?" I held out a scratch ticket.
He scoffed "Probably not, but go for it." Dean tossed my a dime and I scratched off the three numbers. All matching. What else was good about it? All were $15,000! I waved the ticket at Dean, then Sam, saying "I just won't Fifteen Thousand dollars!"
Sam took the ticket and studied it. "How are you becoming so lucky today?" He saw the like key chain sticking out of my pocket. "What's that?" I pulled it out and he gasped "Is that a lucky rabbits foot?"
I put it in his hands and he immediately chucked it. "No! What the hell!" He raised his voice. I threw my hands up in defense. "It's just a key chain!"
Dean walked over and sighed "Now you're both going to be unluckily until we burn it."
Sam face palmed. "I threw it."
Sadly, he threw it out the window. Some man yelled "I'm rich!"
Shit. This won't end well.
I took one step and fell over. "What the- How did that happen?"
Dean explained to me that when you touch the lucky rabbits foot, you get lucky as ever, but if you lose it, your luck turns bad. Now Sam and I both have bad luck. Then Sam explained how they sealed with this before.
As Sam and I were ordered to stay here, Dean went out in search for it.
Sam pouted "How do I always end up with the bad luck?"
I chuckled "So you got the bad luck last time?"
He nodded poorly. "Yep, and now I have it again. We have to watch each other's backs."
We sat for hours before Dean came back saying "I did not find it, but, I have good news!"
I sat up straight "Tell us?" I begged. Dean busted out laughing and said "Just kidding, I got it, and found a hundred dollar bill outside!" I rolled my eyes and stayed out. I have to be careful, Sam explained how the bad luck will get you killed.
"You two," Dean pointed at us, "Stay here," he walked out with some gasoline and matches. I hope he hurries, I'm done with this bad luck.
Rogue appears out of no where, as always, and jumped around. I pet him, but he accidentally bit me, which hurts like a "Mother fucker!" I winced in pain. My arm bled, Rogue whimpered slightly and ran out. He won't go far. Sam looked at my arm that had blood almost flowing out like a waterfall. "What did you do?"
I laughed nervously, saying "The bad luck got me bit by Rogue, and geez does it hurt!" Sam carefully grabbed some stuff to patch up my arm. Thank god for keeping a medical kit along.
Sam and I went out to watch Dean burn the foot. Honestly, I have to learn more about these supernatural things, before I end up killing myself.
"Alright, we should all be safe," Dean smiled, his voice sounded heroic. "Thank you, Dean! You're he best brother ever!" He mimicked my voice quite terribly. "No problem, just protecting my siblings." He went to a deeper voice.
I rolled my eyes and shoved him. "You're such an ass sometimes. Now let's go in, I'm freezing." I said walking back into the hotel and laying in one of the beds. I got under the covers and snuggled in, trying to warm up. The boys came in about five minutes later.
Sam chuckled then frowned. "Woah,no, there's only two beds," he scoffed. "I will definitely not share with Dean!"
I looked back and forth between the two. "I ain't sleepin' with any of y'all or on that ground!" Ok, now I talk slightly southern or something about like that. Shit, this must be one of those demon things I read. One thing I saw was you accent, the way you talk, or even voice could possibly change.
"I'll take the flood," Sam sighed and took a pillow and blanket and made a crappy bed on the floor.
I sighed and got out of he bed. "You can take the bed, Sam." He smiled weakly, saying "No, I'll be fine." I picked him up, surprisingly stronger than I thought. "Get into the bed and go to fucking sleep!" I ordered, him doing as I forcefully commanded.
I laid down on the not-so-comfy hotel floor. Yeah, I was in the bed before him, but they do more work than I do. Besides, I literally have one foot in the grave, they don't, not exactly at least. I'll be fine. So will they.
