Is It Over Yet?

The weekend went slow and I kept myself locked in my room,i didn't leave, not even to eat, I had an on suite so I didn't need to leave. But Monday came around and I had to go to school, I had to face everyone.

When I got to school I sat down on the dry grass near the trees, there was usually nobody around here but today there was a group of popular girls and some boys. I sat on my phone reading an e book.

Someone grabbed my phone and another person pushed me down. I jumped up and pushed her back, she hit the floor with a smack and in an instant people had pinned me down and were kicking me The pain when my back hit the floor was intense. But the pain when I looked around me and saw 4 girls and 3 boys laughing at me was worse.

I heard a girl shout something then saw her throw my phone as far as she could. I saw a boy whisper to her then her kick me in the stomach, it didn't hurt though, it was nothing compared to at home.

They finally stopped and walked away, the was dirt in my hair and all over my clothes. I scrambled to my feet and when the bell went I tried to find my phone. It was only when it started to ring that I found it. I picked it up and saw the unknown number, without another thought I answered
"Hello"
"Hey. Ashley?"
"Yah. Who's this?"
"Your mum"
"What is it mum"
"Your father got a call to say you've been skipping lessons"
"So"
"So hes angry"
"Ok . Bye."
"Oh and we wont be home" when you get back"
"Why"
"Your father has some work" thing"
"Ok mum. Bye"

I hung up and put my phone in my pocket. I walked to my class and sat down, it was catering. Everyone was chatting and passing notes. I kept my head down but felt things hit me as people threw them. Suddenly there was a note infront of me
'watch it freak'. I turned around but nobody was looking at me. The teacher walked in and sat down. The classroom went silent and everyone was looking forwards at her.
"Ok class, get into your pairs when I read your names"

She read out some names finally she said mine
"Ashley and David". Oh no. Why. Oh god.

He sat next to me and the lesson went on. Finally at the end miss said "Ok everybody, I expect you to meet up with your partner's tonight and plan your practical work for Wednesday. Thankyou".

Thankgod dad's out tonight.

By the end of the day I was tired and as I walked down the road on my way home a car stopped next to me, I looked to the side to see David smiling at me "get in. We've got planning to do". I got in the car and he started to drive "your place?" He asked. I just nodded and we were soon at my house.

We were sat in the living room reading through some book when i heard the door open. I jumped up and grabbed David's hand. I ran to my bedroom and dragged him with me.my breath stopped for a second and He looked confused.

I slammed shut my bedroom door and locked it before there was shouting
"Where are you. Get your a** down here now".

David looked worried as he said "Ashley what's going on?" I opened my window and said "you need to go. Now. Through the window" David walked to me and put his hands on my shoulders "ash what's happening". I brushed off his hands but before I could speak I heard banging on my bedroom door "open the door. Now. Get your a** out here" I rushed David out of the window and opened the door.

I felt him grab me by my hair and throw me to the floor. I tried to get up but he kicked me and I fell back down. He pulled me to my feet by my hair and put his hands on my throat, he pinned me to the wall and spat "skip school. Not do as I say . Do you really want this. Is that why you always betray me. I was told you beat on a girl too. Shame you can't stick up for yourself properly ain't it". I shook my head and grabbed at his hands trying to escape. I slowly blacked out but before I did he dropped me and I fell to the floor.
