Getting to know them.

Y’know how everyone has that one friend with the hot older brother? Or maybe it’s just me. Anyway, it isn’t me who is crushing, more like all of the girls in the whole entire school, plus more. I mean, yeah he is hot, he’s on the school soccer team, has a great sense of humour, great body, his hair is always perfect and his eyes are to die for. He’s the kind of boy that would make the perfect boyfriend, he’d know when to leave you alone, he’d know how to make you feel better, he would be caring and…okay I’ve spent too long thinking about this about something that won’t happen. I know him as Zoe’s older brother in the room down the hall. It wouldn’t be right for me to like him let alone date him…would it?

I do feel sorry for Zoe though. He really set the bar in the school, and in their family, once one sets the bar the others must follow suit and keep up the reputation. Zoe isn’t really smart like her brother, and you can’t really compete with the school jock like he is. The image she shows the world is completely different to how she really is. Her parents want her to be this perfect little girl who achieves good grades, is recognised at school for all the good things she does…they want the perfect daughter, which is something Zoe is not. She’s rebellious (though not at school because parents get contacted), loud mouthed, not afraid to speak her mind and she has a potty mouth.

Scarlett is one of the girls in our friendship group, there are four of us. Scarlett quite literally has a library in her head, like whoa, she knows EVERYTHING. I guess you could call her a nerd or a geek… but she isn’t anything like a stereotypical geek, uncool, unfashionable clothing, not liked at school etcetera, Scarlett is kind of the opposite. People do tease her sometimes but she doesn’t care, because she’s happy with her life and doesn’t mind. Scarlett is a gem, she’s the one that we all turn to for advice and she’s great fun to be around. Scarlett just about is doing two peoples’ school work; Zoe’s and her own. See, you know how I said Zoe isn’t the perfect girl her parents think she is? She bludges her way through school and Scarlett does Zoe’s work for her and helps her study for exams in which she half cheats off other people anyway. I don’t know why Zoe and I get on so well, we just do.

Then, there’s Marla. Marla almost seems to be too good to be in our little group. She gets a lot of boy attention, and I mean A LOT, and literally the whole school knows her. I’ve hear people call her the “runt” of our group and even the “ugly duckling” of the group. Sounds kind of harsh I know, but I guess in a way it’s kind of true. Marla hasn’t got the best looks in the group…and I’m not saying she is ugly, because she isn’t. But the way she gets all her ‘fame’ if that’s what you want to call it, she tends to get around. You could say she’s a slut, she gets around…sleeps around…and then her reputation and previous ‘experiences’ lead to someone else and then someone else.

As for me, I’m Wynter, Wynter Lynn. Weird spelling I know, my parents wanted to be different, as if the name Winter wasn’t different enough, they decided to spell it with a y. But I’m not complaining. I have yet to find someone with the same name as me. I’m Seventeen and two months old, currently in grade 11 and schooling with my best friends. I guess you could say I’m the ‘average’ one but I’m not. I’m not a straight A student, I’m not school sports team captain, just a teenage girl enjoying what she can with a smile on her face and a happy and bubbly personality.

So, that’s the group. Zoe, Scarlett, Marla and myself. We've been friends since I can remember and I hope that it stays that way for a long time to come.

I know how bad this sucks so far, but bare with me...

And I know it's super short but eh. I didn't know what to write and its practically 3AM right now

I wasn't really sure how to start cause I've never written of read a fanfic before .-.

So as you can now tell I started by introducing everyone. I kind of think of it almost like Wynter is writng to someone she's never spoken to before.. I might do more of these I'm not sure yet... buuuuuut anyway, I hope it gets better *fingers crossed*

oh and who do you think Zoe's brother is? It's kinda too early to tell..
