Chapter Two ~The Try Outs and A Soon to be Interesting Night~

*Seto's P.O.V*

After the first four periods of class I found myself walking to lunch with my new friend, who's name was Jerome. I had ended up sitting beside him in every class so far.

"So Jerome, did you see anyone who has peeked your interest yet?" I asked him with a smile. It was weird for me to feel this comfortable around someone, I was usually shy and was usually the one who answered the questions, not asked them.

He shrugged, "Nah, but it's only the first day of course."

"Seto!"

I heard my name being yelled from across the hall, Jerome and I turned to see Ty and the rest f his friends walking towards us.

"Oh, hey Ty." I said smiling to him.

"I see you took my advice and made a new friend! I'm Ty." Ty said to Jerome, offering him a friendly smile.

"Hey Ty, I'm Jerome." He said, returning the smile back to him.

"I wanted to introduce you to the rest of my friends, and invite you two to hang out with us today!" Ty said.

"This is Jason." Ty said, motioning to a guy to his right, we just simply nodded to each other and Ty moved on, "And this is the one who knocked you over this morning, Adam."

Adam looked away, "Oh, yeah, sorry about that."

I shook it off, "It's fine."

Ty went through the other names of his group of friends, as I tried to remember them all.

*Jerome's P.O.V*

I just kind of stood there, listening to everyone, but honestly only one person stood out to me. I learned that his name was Mitch, and man did my heart stop.

But it doesn't matter because I wasn't a basketball player, so he didn't even know I existed, he just looks right through me...

"So Seto, Jerome, what do you say, wanna hang out with us?" Ty asked.

"Sure, I'm in!" Seto said, "How about you Jerome?"

I nodded silently, I felt oddly out of place but with out Seto I would be a loner once again.

"Oh! We have to go to the gym for try outs!!" Adam suddenly yelled.

"Right!" Ty said, he then turned back to the two of us, "You guys don't mind watching, right?" 

"No, it's fine!" Seto said, so we followed them to the gym.

Seto and I sat on the bleachers, we had a pretty good view of everything.

A few minutes later, a boy who was also in our class walked in as well, he noticed us and walked over.

"Hey guys, mind if I sit with you? My friend is trying out and I don't want to look like a loner."

"Yeah, sure go ahead!"

"By the way I'm Tyler, we have a few classes together, right?" Tyler asked.

"Hey Tyler, I'm Seto, and yes that's correct!"

"I'm Jerome." I said, "So who's your friend that's trying out?" 

"His name is Kyle, I think he is also in our class, he's pretty cool I'll be sure to introduce you guys when he's done!" Tyler said.

I nodded and adverted my attention to the basket ball court, I'm not going to lie to you, the only one who I was really watching was Mitch...

But, in the run of just a matter of seconds my heart dropped, I watched as a very pretty girl ran up to him and hugged him. I sighed, well so much for that...

*Mitch's P.O.V*

"Hey Ashley!" I said as we hugged.

"I made it! I'm head cheerleader!!" Ashley said, smiling from ear to ear.

"No way! That's amazing!" I said, I was happy for her.

Just then, Adam decided to interrupt. 

"Hey guys! The coach posted who's on the team and what position they're playing as, come on!" Adam dragged me to the sheet that coach had just posted.

I scanned the names and found mine, I smiled.

"Yes!! I made captain!!" I shouted.

Adam and the others made it on the team as well, and we were all super happy.

"Party at my house tonight!! We need to celebrate some how!!" Ty shouted, and we all agreed on going.

"I'll go invite the other members of the team too!" Adam said.

~Le time skip to da par-tay!!~

*Ty's P.O.V*

Adam, Mitch, Jason, and I were all at my house getting ready for the party tonight.

"So, Mitch, you and Ashley have been getting pretty close." Adam said, putting his arm around Mitch.

I laughed as Mitch gave him a death glare for bringing that subject up.

"How about you Ty? We all know that you can't stand being alone for parties." Adam said, looking over to me.

I shrugged, "I suppose we will have to see."

"Who all did you invite anyways?" Jason asked, speaking up.

"The team, and a couple of other friends, including Ashley." I glanced to Mitch and wiggled my eyebrows.

"Shut up!" Mitch yelled and tackled me.

Sorry it was a little shorter than usual, but believe me, the next chapter will be worth it!

Let's just say that they might play a few rounds of drunken spin the bottle...

But I suppose you shall find out for sure by sticking around and reading the next chapter!
