DEMI'S POV
He got my coffee and we decided to go back home. There was a ring coming from my phone, and I figured it would be Simon. But no...it was someone was younger and prettier...Selena.
"OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG" she yelled as i answered the phone. "What now?' I asked her. "I won free tickets to a CRUISE!"
"WHAT? REALLY?" I screamed. "YES REAAALLLLLY!"
"HOW MUCH DO U GOT?" I asked, still screaming. "2" she calmed down. "Sorry Sel, I can't. I'm not gonna leave Joe for 2 weeks." I frowned.
"Please Demi...take a little break from your boyfriend and come with me. It will be just like when we were younger." she begged. "Fine." I sighed. "But how do I tell Joe?"
"Just say you wanna take a little break and-" she started. "WHAT? NO" I said, interrupting her. "I'm not gonna break up with him!"
"Well, not break up, but just a little break..like..a vacation from..him" she said. "Oh..umm..I don't know Sel."
"Demi..please." she begged again. "Okay..okay" I hung up.
"Hey Dems! I'm back!" Joe knocked on my door. "Hey..look..I need to tell you something." I unlocked the door. "What is it?"
"It's that...I'm gonna be gone for two weeks." I looked down. "What, why?" he quickly questioned. "I'm going on a cruise with Selena." I choked out.
"Oh..when are you leaving?" he asked. "Tomorrow."
"Demi I'm gonna miss you so much." he sighed. "I know, I'm gonna miss you too." I hugged him, putting my head comfortably on his chest.
He hugged me back, tight. "You gonna start packing?" he asked. "Yeah.." I said, pulling away from the hug. "Bye.."
"Bye Joe." I smiled and opened the door for him. "I love you babe." he kissed my forehead and left.
I heard another knock on my door. I opened it and saw Selena. "Oh..hey." I said. "Hey Demi!" "So why are you here?" I asked her. "I wanted to know if you wanna go shopping with me."
"I don't know, aren't we leaving tomorrow and do we really need to look good on a cruise?" I raised an eyebrow. "Yes, there are a lot of hot boys Demi!" she put my hands on my shoulders and shook me.
"Umm..no no and no." I said, making her let go of my shoulders. "I'm not gonna cheat on Joe..and plus you have Nick." I sat down.
"Come on Demi, you only live once! Just enjoy it." she sat down also. "What the fuck?" I stood up. "I thought you liked me and Joe together!" I raised my voice.
"That's not what I meant Dems!" she pulled me back onto the couch. "I knew exactly what you meant!" I yelled at her. "No you don't!"
"Yes I do Sel!" I said seriously. "Demi, I don't want you to be hurt. I heard bad stuff about this guy."
"Who, what guy? You mean Joe?" I questioned. "NO IT'S SANTA CLAUS COME ON DEMI!" she sarcasticly said.
"Nothing is bad about Joe." I played with my nails. "Dems, I date his brother, I know he is bad."
"Selena just stop please!" I yelled, "He is not bad! You don't know him at all, he didn't do anything bad. Exept attacking me" I laughed.
"Okay..then shall I tell you about his ex's?" she asked. "Sure." I said, knowing he is not bad at all.
"Sit tight Demi because there are a lot." she told me. "Shut up." I glared. "Well, according to this little chart I made, he dates a girl, breaks up with her in 2 months and dates another girl in about 1 week later." she held up her chart.
"This proves nothing." I mumbled. "Okay, then tell me how long you guys have been together." she instructed. "1 month and a little." I answered. "That means its almost the end of your relationship with him. Demi, I'm just doing this so you can get prepared."
"Get prepared for what?" I asked. "To get your heart broken from Joe because he is a heartbreaker."
"Sel, please, that's stupid. He loves me, he wouldn't do that." I defended. "Okay Demi, I tried to warn you."
"fine, you are probably right." I said, looking at her chart. "Dems, I'm so sorry." she hugged me. "But I can't believe he is gonna break up with me. I SERIOUSLY CAN'T AND THATS WHY IM NOT GONNA BELIEVE YOU!" I snapped out of it.
"Demi, calm down!" she commanded. "I'm not gonna believe he is gonna break up with me though."
"Whatever, just wanted you to get prepared. And i don't think we have time to go shopping anymore, so I'll go. Bye Demi! See you tomorrow." she opened the door and walked out.
"Bye." I waved. A second after she left, I grabbed my phone and called Joe. It rang a few times but he answered finally.
"Hey."
"Hey."
"So..I need to ask you something." I told him. "Oh because I needed to tell you something." he said. "You go first." I played with my nails again.
"I think we should break up." he confessed.
My eyes grew big. "WAIT..WHAT?!?!?!"
