2 days later.
Demi walked downstairs, finding Joe glaring at the TV. "Hey, what's wrong?" she sat down on the couch. "The media, it's annoying as hell." Joe grabbed the remote and furiously turned the TV off. "Oh." Demi sighed.
"Is it gonna bother us though?" Demi looked at him. "Maybe." Joe shrugged. "You can't, this is our lives, the media shouldn't be fussing about it. I just wish we had....privacy." she looked down.
"Yeah, me too. But that's the price with being famous. They will bother us, it's annoying and stupid, but that's how life is. I'll try to not let it bother us, but if it does, it does." Joe lifted her chin up. "I know, I know. But they shouldn't treat us like this. We are normal people, we are humans. Just like them. Why don't we have the privacy everybody has?" she looked in his eyes. "It's just, how they work I guess." he slightly smiled.
"I don't really have a problem with them, my only problem is that it's gonna bother us." Demi got a pillow and hugged it. "It's not. After all of this, I won't let it bother us. I just won't. They aren't worth our time." he kissed her forehead.
"Pinky promise?" Demi held out her pinky. "Pinky promise." Joe laughed, locking pinkies with her.
"Well..see ya later then." Demi smiled and ran upstairs, giggling. "Hey!" Joe yelled from downstairs. Demi ran straight to the computer and went on Twitter and tweeted:
Life is wonderful. For anyone out there who doesn't feel that way, it is. In the end it is always wonderful. When you get pass all the bad parts. When you find that one person that treats you right. I love you guys. Xoxo.
Joe came upstairs and sat with her. "I love this tweet." he smiled, "And, I love you also, beautiful"
"Thanks, I love you too" Demi blushed. "Now, I have some news for you." Joe smirked. "What?" Demi put her hand on her hip. "We're getting interviewed today." he told her. "Really?" she smiled big. He chucked a little, "Yep."
"What time?" she asked him. "five thirty." he got up. "Where you going?" Demi questioned. "To get ready." he started walking towards the door. "Already?" she stood up also. "Dems, it's five o'clock. You should get ready too." he laughed, "Oh!" she beamed. "Okay, now get ready babe." he walked out the door.
Demi took off her T-shirt and jeans, leaving her only with her bra and underwear. Joe cracked the door open a little. "Oh, your changing." he smirked, "Yeah, and you should too." she rolled her eyes. "Fine." he groaned, shutting the door.
She quickly got dressed, did her makeup, and went downstairs, seeing Joe already sitting on the couch, waiting for her. "Sorry, couldn't find what to wear." she apologized, "It's okay, let's go now." he opened the door for her. "Alrighty." she walked out slowly.
Joe shut the door, walked to the car, opened the door for Demi, and got in his seat. They buckled their seatbelts. "You ready?" he looked at her. "Ready as cheese." she laughed. "Is cheese ready?" Joe chuckled. "Hmmm, let me think, yes." Demi put her purse in the back seat.
"Alrighty then." he began driving. "Wait...where exactly is this interview?" she looked at him, "Somewhere in the United States." he said, "Babe, it's five thirty." Demi frowned, Joe glanced at his watch, "Oh shit."
"Oh no, we're late, what do we do!?!?" Demi panicked, "Calm down Dems, I'm sure it's gonna be okay." Joe smiled. "Why are you smiling?" she looked at him, "You'll see."
