Y/n's POV:
"How-how are you alive?" I question.
"I was the man your mother married and had you. She left me after that and then married that idiot of a man you call your father and both died. I was blown up when he tried to kill me!" Peter said jabbing a finger accusingly at Sirius.
"You blamed me for killing the Potters!" Sirius blurted.
"Enough! If anyone should be killed it is Sirius!" Snape's voice rings out.
"Expelliarmus!" I blurt out jumping at the sudden presence behind me. Snape flies back and is knocked out by his head slamming into a brick support.
"Lupin! Let's go!" I shout as Lupin realised he forgot to do something.
"You're a werewolf! I've known for a while. Harry, Ron! We've got to get out of here!" Hermione yelps as the three of them scramble away.
"Wait! tibiam eius sanaret!" I hiss. A light flashed, and Ron's leg was healed. Then the three ran away. Peter disappeared a while ago but getting mulled by a werewolf was not one thing I was excited to experience. I changed into a fox and chased Lupin into the woods. Lupin looked at me with pain filled eyes and ran further into the woods. I changed back into a human and ran towards the school. I see hordes upon hordes of dementors swarming around you. The air started to drop temperature and I started to shiver.
"EXPECTO PATRONUM!" I hear Oliver's voice roar. A silver fox came scampering toward the horde. They dispersed in a cloud of black smoke and were gone. Then everything went black.
Oliver's POV:
I cast the patronus spell and rushed forward just in time to catch Y/n as she fell to the ground. I pick her up bridle style and walk back to the school. Why was she even out there? I thought to myself. I was going to help Dumbledore eradicate the dementors because they were too close to the school and might kill the students.
"Were there—Oh Merlin's beard! Out of all the students why Y/n!" Professor McGonagall exclaims clapping a hand over her mouth when she saw Y/n dangling from my grasp.
"I think the dementors took a toll on her," I said sadly.
"She's not breathing," McGonagall stated tonelessly. "I'll take her from here," she added. She picked up Y/n and disappeared into her office. I had no other choice but to turn around and face dementors.
Minerva McGonagall's POV:
I'd watch Y/n grow up from a distance. I grew very fond her. Her mother was my younger half-sister when my father remarried. I taught her in my class, but I would never believe that she would die at the hands of her first husband. When Y/n's mother died, her second father took her in until she began Hogwarts. The cramped little house she lived in before became home to me and the rest was history. Y/n always acted so tense because she was afraid of love. I wouldn't blame her. I have experience heartbreak and haven't fully recovered. I held Y/n's head to my chest and gently sobbed. If I lost Y/n, I'd have lost the remains of my family and I can't bare the fact they would be gone. I looked at Y/n who was sleeping peacefully in my arms.
My sister, Freya, was the most charming girl of the family. She always believed in the good side of people. She was born around the same Lily was and attended the same time. I see Y/n and she reminds me so much of her. I never cry but I think this is an appropriate time.
