Chapter 24: People never change

-A week Later-

*Ty POV*

I stood in line at the grocery store, waiting for the cashier to finish checking my stuff out. Then I seen Dakota and tune. I turned away, before she looked at me. Then someone tapped my shoulder.

"Hey Ty." Dakota said swaying with her hands on her hips.

"Oh! Hey Dakota?" I said pretending like I didn't see her come in.

"Yeah, whatever. Tell Roc don't be late coming to see Cayden today, because I have plans tonight with Tune."

"What? Roc HAS been seeing Cayden? but I haven't seen him in months."

"Well, he isn't your child. I prefer him to not be around you. You know, your Instagram just isn't a good look for you." she said shaking her head and walking away.

I was furious. I texted Roc and cussed him completely out.

I got all the groceries out the house, and Prince came out and helped. When I got in the house I was telling Erin what happened.

"I getting tired of that bitch, did I tell you I seen her and Roc at foot locker the other day?"

"No, what happened?"

"Girlllllll, well me and Precious were getting our tickets for the 5's that Saturday right."

"Right?"

"And he was balling out on shorty, I'm telling you bags on top of bags."

"Damn. Funny, he did come home with a lot of shit, and shit that was way too little for me." I said crossing my arms, and sinking in the couch.

"Mhm. I tried to tell you Chica, that boy,.... Is no good." She said pointing her finger and shaking her head.

"I have to go baby doll, text me!" Erin said getting up hugging me.

Maybe she was right. I needed to talk to Roc. I pulled my ring off my finger and walked up stairs, as Erin walked out the door.

Before I knew it Roc was walking through the door.

I was laying in the bed, I threw the cover over my head, and put my earbuds in.

Then he walked into our bedroom.

He laid beside me, and was talking into my neck.

"Roc get off of me." I said shoving his face.

I got up and stumbled over a car seat. It was Cayden, I picked him up and put him in his crib in the nursery. I turned on the cushion heater because it was so cold because he hadn't been over in a while.

I went down the hall to the guest room, and got in the bed and locked the door.

BANG! BANG! BANG!

Roc was beating at the door.

"Roc just go away.." I said crying into the comforter.

"No! open the door!"

"Why do you lie to me?"

"Ain't nobody lied to you girl! You wouldn't believe the truth if The Lord himself told you. You need to stop listening to these hoes cause all of them ain't real!"

I ignored him, I climbed out the window and sat on the roof... I wanted to jump... But before I Could make any decisions, Roc busted down the door & grabbed me off the ledge.

"So, you were just going to jump? Leave me here alone, with Amoni? SHe wouldve been without a mom Ty!"

I ignored everything Roc said, but some words did sink in.

"Ty, youre going to be my wife soon." He said carressing my arms. I shook him off. He didnt understand what he was putting me through. The only thing that was perfect about my life was the fact he proposed to me. Roc ismy everything, and he doesn't even appreciate it.

Roc picked me up bridal style and took me to the bedroom.

"Babe, get dressed. I wanna take you somewhere. Put on some shoes tho." He said picking up Cayden's bag.

I put on my bleache d denim shorts and a blue half shirt and conditioned my hair, so it would be curly. i put on some tennis shoes like Roc said and wen into the nursery where he was.

"Babe, get Cayden and bring him to the car." He said picking up Amoni, i picked up Cayden and went downstairs. I went outside and started the car, Roc went back in the house to get things he thought we would need. This boy came out with skateboards. I laughed histarically snd got in the passenger seat.

"So, I dont know what to expect but i know it's going to be good."

We pulled up to A park, we got the strollers out and walked to babies around for a while. We talked about everything.

"You know Ty, you are a blessing..."

"Oh yeah? How is that?"

"You keep me on the right track. You're my other half. You know how they say God makes you with one half of a heart and once you're ready go out in the world and find the other piece?"

"Haha, yeah."

"You're my other piece...." He pulled out a box. it was a locket, with our first picture together. He put it around my neck, and we continued our walk.

"You know you dont always have to buy me jewelry.." I said.

"I do it because I can, not because i feel like im suppose to." He said stopping.

"Why are we stopping?"

"I didnt bring these skateboards for nothing!" he said giggling. I got on the skateboard and started riding. Roc pulled out his camera and started taking pictures. We laughed and made jokes.  He took pictures.

A few hours later we went to Yaya's island, and let the babies get on the choo choo train a couple of times, but mostly because I really wanted to play pirates lol.

Okay, I have started to update on PC its faster and i get alot done in a short amount of time. Im going  to start putting pictures up. I'll try to put them in the comments. Or something. Imstarting my Princeton book as we speak, it's not going to have as much violence as this one, but it's going to be updated alot faster than i updated this. This book will have a sequal.
