*Dakota POV*
It's the day.
Well the day before.
The day me and my lover will be united for eternity. I was at the shop. Today, is Cayden's birthday. Roc and Amoni are at his party. Me, Erin, passion, and Amber were all getting our hair and nails done.
"Ouch, damn bitch!" Amber said while the Chinese woman scraped her nails.
"You nails no clean, need good pedicure. No?" The Chinese woman said yelling at her.
"Ching Chong Ching bitch. Do my shit without hurting me!" She said yanking away from her.
"You better quit. Where's Roc Ty?" Erin said from the station next to me.
"Girl, it's his sons birthday." I said scrolling down my Instagram feed.
I kept scrolling, then I seen a picture Someone reported of Dakotas.
Everything around me went silent. I dropped my phone and closed my eyes.
Erin picked up my phone, and instantly started talking in Spanish. He started dialing.
"Don't..." I said. "Are you almost done?" I asked the hair dresser.
"All finished" she said, holding out her hand. I gave her the money and got in my car.
I drove to Build a monkey and walked in.
"Are you here for a party ma'am?"
"No, just to pick someone up."
I walked over to there party section, with my girls right behind me. Roc and Dakota were all huge up like they were on Instagram.
"Is it my eyes are is this bitch on Roc's lap?" Amber said stepping back. "I just got my nails done!" she said smacking her teeth.
"Where is Tune? He need to get his bitch in check!" Passion said putting her hair up.
"At home, where Roc should be."
I grabbed Amoni off the play mat. Erin grabbed the diaper bag and car seat, we were on way out. We were almost out, then I heard a voice.
"Where did my baby go?!" Roc yelled.
I ran. We all it in the cars, and we were out.
As soon as I got home all the girls helped me pack all me and my baby stuff. It was all in the cars. Then I came across this picture, it was me and Roc on our first date. On the beach. I was in my uggs, haha. It was so hot. When I first met my, now, best friend.
My attention was broke when I seen a shadow walk in the door.
"Where are you going?" Roc said. He looked like he had been crying.
"Away, you can see Amoni whenever were in town. Roc I'm getting out of here. I'm going back home." I said getting up.
"Baby, I'm sorry. It was all an act. I promise." He said trying to grab me.
"No." I said jerking away....
"Are... Are you.. Coming back?"
"No..... Not this time.." I felt the tears rolling down my face... I rushed past roc as he sat on the bed.
I left all his jewelry. Except for his promise ring of course.... It was the very first symbol of love Roc gave to me. I couldn't let it go.
"You ready T?" Erin said in the driver seat. I looked back at Amoni. Then at the bedroom window where Roc was standing. He had drawn, "R + T" inside a heart. I texted him. "I will always love you Chresanto.." I kissed my hand and placed it on the glass.
It was it I was finally leaving all the bullshit behind.
