"Just ask her!" Lucy pressed, squaring a weak shove on Gray's back. He stumbled forward only slightly.

"Lucy watch it!" He yelled.

"Are you okay?" You asked, looking at a distressed Gray.

A blush formed on his cheeks. "No I just-

"Gray wants to ask you something!" Lucy exclaimed.

"Oh what is it?" You asked sweetly, tilting your head and giving him a closed eye smile.

"I uh-" he inhaled deeply. "Wouldyouliketospendthedaywithme?"

Your eyebrows knitted together. "Urmmm what did you say?"

He stared into your (e/c) eyes, his bottom lip quivering. "I asked if you wanted to spend the day with me." He whispered.

A blush heated your cheeks. A smile erupted from your confused figures. "Yes!" You exclaimed overwhelmed happiness.

He actually asked you! You've wanted him to for so long! "Yes!!" You exclaimed again. Without thinking you leaped into his arms. He let out a laugh as you did and supported you up with his strong arms.

For a moment you two were alone. No guild just you and Gray. Cupping his face with you hands you peered into his eyes.

Securely wrapping you legs around his waist you both stared for a moment, wide smiles on your lips.

"I love you." You murmured, placing a kiss on his cheek.

For a moment he was silent. A sudden dread filled you that he didn't feel the same.

"I love you too." He whispered, peering up at you with admiration.

Then the whole guild cheered, bringing you out of your mesmerized state. You both snapped your heads over. The whole guild clapped and cheered.

You both blushed, incredibly embarrassed, not even realizing how tightly you were holding onto your Ice Mage.

"It's about time Gray!" Natsu and Lucy both yelled together. They whipped over to look at eachother blushing.

"You were saying?" Gray laughed.

"Hey what is that supposed to mean?!?" Natsu yelled. Lucy merely covered her face with her hands.

You and Gray laughed, looking into each other's eyes. Your soul was filled with light. You felt so uplifted.

Gray held you, tightly. Maybe he was afraid of letting go? But the again, so were you.

"I'm never letting go." You whispered in Gray's ear. His grip slightly loosened then tightened again.

"Neither am I." He whispered back, his cool breath tickling your ear.

You placed a kiss on his lips. He kissed you back tenderly. You wrapped your arms around his neck as he laced his fingers through you (h/c) hair.

You stayed there for a while, both of you knowing in your hearts that you were never letting go.
