(Your POV)
The next day rolled by in a breeze, and nothing happened. Pitch didn't even come home and the Nightmares are becoming rowdy when I look at them.
I have to growl or claw at them to stay away from me, their getting bigger and it's not making me feel safe at all.
I decided to look around the place and found nothing exiting, except for the hole that's so far up on the ceiling, or the globe with little golden lights.
I spent a few hours trying to figure out how to get up the hole, but couldn't find an escape.
I snapped my fingers when an idea came to mind, and called one of the nicer Nightmares over towards me.
"Belle, I need you to get me up this hole above us, do you think you can do that for me?" I asked Belle, my own personal Nightmare, but she shook her head no.
"Um, how about a carrot?"
No.
"Two carrots?"
No.
"Ten carrots?!" I asked and jumped up and down.
She shook her head yes and I got into her back, holding onto her mane.
She sped up and flew towards the hole, but right before she did, black sand covered the space, leaving us in darkness.
"Belle, what's going on?" I asked and looked around cautiously.
"(Y/n)!!!!" I herd Pitch yell in anger.
I flinched and looked around, not knowing what I did wrong.
"Pitch..?"  I squeaked out.
"How dare you try to leave! I give you food, shelter, and love, but you try to leave me?!" He yelled out and stomped out of the shadows, glaring at me and Belle.
"Pitch, this isn't what it looks like. I just wanted to look around, I got bored of being cooped up in here and-" I tried to explain but he slapped me and I almost fell off of Belle, making her growl in anger towards Pitch.
My cheek stung and my eyes pricked with tears. A small whimper escaped my mouth and I got into Belle right, and hugged her around her neck.
"Belle, we're leaving." I whispered and she shot off, leaving Pitch yelling and screaming behind us.
She blazed through the sand and shot through the trees above us, and high into the air.
I looked down and saw a forest of brown and grey. The leaves were on the ground being covered with snow.
I smiled and patted her neck, making her neigh in joy.
"Belle, let's go to the South Pole, I don't think that Pitch will look for us there." I said and she nodded her head, and started running through the air towards the South Pole.
The air around me turns freezing, and my legs shook, while I Barrie's my hands in the sleeves and pocket of my sweatshirt.
"(Y/n)?"
I turned around slightly, my lips had felt frozen and my fingers had started to turn blue. My scars stuck out in white jagged lines, and Bell had to keep breathing on me and curl up next to me to keep me warm.
Behind me, Jack rushed forwards, his staff split in half. His arms wrapped around me as he tried to keep me warm. I nodded at Belle, and slightly went to pet her nose.
"(Y/n), is she a friend?" Jack asked hesitantly. I whispered a measly yes, and he hopped onto her back, and she bolted north. Towards North's work shop.
"J-Jack, what were you doing in-"
"Shh, just rest now. I'll explain later." He softly rubbed my cheek as to sooth me, but that only made me slowly fall to sleep.
My back rested on his lap and my head on his chest, my legs were wrapped around Belle's neck, and she sped faster as my legs weakened from exhaustion.
I glanced up at Jack's chin, and he looked down for a second before looking straight.
The cold wind blasted my face with tiny ice particles, making me get tiny cuts all over my face.
"J-Jack,"
He looked down with a worried glance and cupped my cheek.
"What is it (Y/n)?" He asked softly.
"I-I'm c-c-cold." I whispered, tears came to my eyes to know he can't do anything.
But, I softly pushed myself into his lap as to sit in it and I hugged his waist, burying my head into his chest.
"Just a little longer, ok. Just stay like that and we'll be there soon." He assured me.
Soon enough, we got there. And right as we landed Jack hopped off of Belle and ran inside. The horse following us.
"Jack! What gives?! First broken staff, than frozen (Y/n), and now nightmare in workshop?!" North stomped over out of nowhere and got into fighting stance with Belle.
"Wait! Belle is a friend, North! Don't attack her. She helped me rescue (Y/n) and get here!" Jack said and rushed in between North and Belle.
"It's a nightmare Jack, it must be destroyed!!" North yelled and charged at both me and Jack, jumped over us and sliced Belle in two in only a few measly seconds.
"N-North!!" I yelled as tears came to my eyes.
Belle helped me out of a few pickles and saved my life many times. Plus she was my only friend at Pitch's home.
And now she's gone.
I've lost to many friends in the past two days, and I'm tired of it!!
I closed my eyes, covered my ears with the palms of my hands and screeched as loud as I could, to distract North and Jack.
As Jack dropped me to the floor to cover his ears, as did North, I bolted towards the open window that we came in from, and jumped off to the ledge, and towards the snow covered ground.
