Living with the Janoskians

Prologue

"You're sending me to go live with James?! But... He lives in LA! With the other Janoskians! They're all boys, mum!" I protest, running around the room frantically behind my mother as she packs all of my belongings into a few suitcases.

"I don't know what to tell you anymore Maggie..." She says, disappointment and hurt clear in her voice. "You've been kicked out of the only school that would accept you after literally all of the other schools in this district already did..." She releases a long sigh and zips up the last suitcase. "And your father and I need sleep."

"James offered for you to come live with him for a year until you turn 19 or so. And you are only missing the last few weeks of school before it's summer. Thank god you graduated, but barely with all of your school changing in the last year. James has promised to watch over you and make sure you are better before he sends you back... Now, the cab is here and you have a very long flight ahead of you." My dad said.

Neither of my parents met my watery gaze once since the announcement that I would be leaving Melbourne, Australia. They knew that if they did, they would have cracked and let me stay here instead of going to Los Angeles to live with my big brother and his friends.

We all grabbed a bag and took it out to the car and put them in the trunk. I silently went out and got into the backseat after hugging my mother and father. I felt as if they were sick of me and having to deal with all of the problems that I came with. They were sending me off to live with a big brother that has never been there for me, especially not when I needed him most. Recent experiences have caused things to be so terrible for me... ruining my life.

I sat there and cried, looking out the back window as my home for all my life faded into the distance. Ending my old familiar life and beginning an entirely new one...
