Adams POV

Ross and Max had been over for the last few hours, and Max is starting to act weird. Panting, snuggling up in blankets and eating alot of snacks, I asked him if felt okay and he said yes but even Ross said if he wasn't feeling well they could go, but he refused so we continued to play SSB.

" Max, buddy, honestly if you don't feel well you can go home. Please, dude im worried" I said as he cuddled into my arm, I was worried about him but I had this weird feeling and I wanted more, so I put my arm around him and I was filled with a warm glow, I knew I loved him but he has a girlfriend who is an amazing person, I couldn't get in the way of that.

" A-Adam I im F-fine.." he panted softly.

" Hes been acting like this for a month now. I dont know what's up with him." Ross responded setting down more ice water for Max, which he chugged instantly. Max.. please be ok.

Max POV

Fuck fuck fuck fucking fuck shit fuck ugh! Why now? If you don't know, well because im not a 'human' im a shifter, im more on the animal sides of things. And guess fucking what? It's mating season for me and im practically dying from heat stroke. Ross doesnt know what's up, he just know im not 100% human, so I have no one to help me with this.

" Max, buddy, honestly if you don't feel well go home,please dude im worried." Adam says rapping his arm I was huddled onto around me. Ross is more like a brother to me so I couldnt go to him, and Adam was here.. I also have this weird feeling around him, he also smells odd but I love it. It makes me feel like another animal is here.

" A-Adam I im F-fine." I said panting, god im too hot I need to cool down. Where the fuck is that ice water Ross said he was getting an hour ago? Ugh that guy is just staring into space probably, that's what he does all the time. Just blank out in the most random times and forget what he's doing for a few minutes, or until we tell him. Speak of the fucking devil here he is now, I can hear him walking over along with ice In a cup.

"Hes been acting like this for a month now. I don't know whats up with him." Ross said setting down the cup, which I grabbed instantly and chugged it. God that was fucking amazing ( not like that you pervs ( -_-) ) mostly because of how fucking hot I was, I still am but not much. I felt somewhat warm on my forehead and saw Adam checking how hot I was.

" God Max! Your burning up! Your sick dude, don't deny it." Sick! That's it! I finally have a real reason to be like this.

" Okay, yeah im sick. We can leave if you want..-" I started to say but Adam cut me off.

" No, no, no! Your sick and here, lie down you arnt going anywhere." He said strictly, I didn't argue and just fell asleep on his arm. I could have sworn I heard him say something under his breath, but I was already out.
