Sue departed as soon as Claire had spoken to her, she had suddenly realised the meaning of her words but how could she know that Ramon needed her? Even she didn’t know but she had left them without a word. She now travelled to Ramon wondering did he need her? and if he did what could she do? As she travelled to join Ramon she could feel that he had turmoil all around him he was fully committed into holding back Broga and Egesa as they battled to be released from their worlds. She joined him. Broga and Egesa were strong, very strong “is this the young apprentice old man” they said sarcastically “she will be your demise old one” Broga boasted “and is no match for us” “She may be young” said Ramon now aware of Sue “she has a wisdom and power that may surprise you.” “She is weak and neither has the wisdom or the power to do what you think old one.”
“You are done for old one neither you or this young one can stop us from breaking free” said Egesa using all of their energies upon Ramon causing him to weaken and then to break free. “You will all suffer for our imprisonment” said Broga now focussing on Ramon draining his energy from him “we will take from you what is rightfully ours” They had ignored Sue completely she had become a bystander as they attacked Ramon determined to finish him. Sue could only watch as they set upon him weakening him with every second of their relentless attack on him. What can I do they are destroying him and we will be lost she thought. Her emotions had reached a peak within her when from deep within her she released a power not known to her. Such a power that it protected Ramon from the attack and also seized Braga and Egesa creating two pockets into which they were locked and she flung them into opposite ends of the existence.
Sue now turned to Ramon “are you okay?” “I am weakened for they have stripped me of some of my power but what have you done?” “They are separated for now and can do no harm for the moment” said Sue “and we are safe but we must return to the gathering for you to be restored”
They then returned to the gathering for Ramon to recover from his attack. “Sue I cannot thank you enough for saving me I was beaten and you appeared and saved me, I needed to call to you but could not for all of me was focussed on Broga and Egesa how did you know I needed you?” Sue looked at him “it was Claire she told me to go to you as you needed me and not to question her, I left immediately and I do not know why.” “The decision we took was wise not for her life to cease when her task was complete, there is something about this Claire that we do not fully understand and I also feel that it is not just Claire it is as they call themselves a family that has an unexplained bond and power that lays within them but they do not realise it and they must be kept safe at all costs I feel that they will become vital in the struggles ahead.” said Ramon. “There is something that I do not understand wise one what was that power I released to banish Broga and Egesa?” said Sue. “That is something that I do not understand as yet as it came from deep within you something that I had never sensed you had, you are powerful than any of us realise my dear and I am thankful for it,”
“Our next concern must be for Claire and her family they are priceless to us as they host the continuance of not only our existence but everything we hold dear what were they doing before you left them.” “I do not know wise one” said Sue “but I feel that they are together and are preparing themselves for a journey my connection with Claire is weak but I know this and they will depart soon but she keeps their destination from me” “That is good” said Ramon “Broga and Egesa have the power to know what we know and we should be careful with what information we have and how we share it. Claire is wise and although Alec doubts himself he will protect them all.” “You must rest now Ramon” said Sue “I’m sure that they will be safe.”
