He was not brought into this world by the same woman,
but he is my brother.
We do not share the same parents,
but he is my brother.
He is more than a friend and less that a lover.
Our bond cannot be undone,
we share vows though aren't wedlock.
We are one mind in two humans,
an anomaly of nature.
Regardless,
he is still my brother.
