Orphan (Charisk ver.)

The start

Chara and Frisk have been orphans about a year after they were all set free onto the surface. Most monsters were orphans too but they hated all humans, even the two who freed them.

Why were they orphans now you ask? Well, Toriel, Asgore and Asriel were about to re-adopt them but Sans told everyone except for Papyrus about the genocide runs. And he said they were all because of Chara.

She declined and said she was being controlled and it wasn't her and Toriel agreed as she knew Chara. Asriel also agreed but Asgore was surpringly believing Sans.

Since they all lived in the same building, Sans wanted to throw Chara out. Toriel tried to persuade Sans that she had to stay but Sans said that she could end up killing them all. Not even Papyrus could talk Sans into letting Chara stay.

At the sound of this, Frisk got mad. He hardly ever got mad. He demanded for Chara to stay or he was leaving too. Sans had looked at him with disbelief.

"You're joking, right kiddo? You can't be serious in leaving just for this demon thi-"

"She's not a demon! That's just what you think she is!" Frisk yelled. Sans' pupils dilated. Not only had he never heard Frisk yell but he was defending Chara.

"Kid, you're our ambassador; you can't just leave" Sans said, trying to persuade him to stay.

"Then let Chara stay" Frisk stated.

"Kid she's going to kill us all eventually; she'll kill you too" Sans said as a warning but Frisk gave a him a look of disgust.

"Sans she's not going to kill anyone!" He exclaimed. He could tell Sans was pissed by now.

"Fine, you can leave kid, see if I care" Sans snapped.

"Fine! I will!" He said, slamming the door as he left the house with Chara.

"You didn't have to leave, why didn't you just stay with them?" Chara asked, feeling remorse for having to have Frisk leave with her.

"Sans was being unfair, and he wouldn't let you stay. If you go, I go. We are a partners, are we not?" Frisk said with a small grin. She looked up and nodded.

"Do we have any money?" Chara asked. "I only have a few g... as in, 10g"

"I didn't have a chance to get all of my money but I have about 36g" Frisk said.

"Are we really gonna live as orphans?" Chara asked.

"As long as Sans hates you" Frisk said with a sigh. Chara looked down. "Hey, don't be like that, he doesn't know what you've been through. And anyway, I chose to leave with you, didn't I?"

"Yeah but... I still don't know why you did" Chara said.

"Oh Chara, if only you knew"
