His name was Liam. Liam Payne to be exact. His brown hair swept back into a perfect quiff and his eyes were a brown.

He hugged the casket his cheek pushing against the cold black surface. He told himself he wouldn't cry, but tears feel down his cheek onto the casket.

The casket held the lifeless body of Ellie Payne. She had no hair, but it she did it was a beautiful silky blonde. Her eyes were shut but behind the eyelids were beautiful hazel eyes. Her pale body was covered in a white wedding dress, that she wore for her wedding. In her hands she held a bouquet of roses, pink to be exact. And upon her neck was a locket with a picture of her and Liam together. And on her ring finger was a beautiful diamond ring that must of cost a fortune.

Liam backed away from the casket as the men lowered it down into the moist ground. Liam put his hands together and looked at his black shoes. Not wanting to watch his wife be lowered down into the ground to rot away in a black box.

An arm draped around Liam's shoulder, but Liam didn't care to see who it was. All he cared about was being alone, so he could think. Think about Ellie.

He told himself that he could of saved her, but really he couldn't. Ellie had lost a grueling 3 year fight against cancer. Cancer that Liam though he could of saved her from.

As the crowd left Liam still stood there looking at the grass below him. Small tears dropped on his show, but he didn't care. His band members tried to get him to budge, but nothing was working. Couldn't they understand that he wanted to be alone. Couldn't they understand that Liam didn't want to even be on earth anymore. He wanted to be with Ellie, in heaven.

He imagined her as a beautiful angel, with a full head of beautiful blonde hair that fell to her lower back. And her wings that were a pure white, and delicate. The slightest of touch could break the feathery wings. Her dress was a silky white that fell to the floor and covered her feet. She looked healthy like nothing was wrong with her.

He looked up to find that it was getting dark and everyone had left. So he slowly moved his feet to his car, dreading going home. Going home to an empty house. A house full of memories. A house where their kids were going to grow up.

Ellie always wanted kids, but with her cancer they couldn't try until she was healthy and the cancer was gone. Liam had faith that Ellie would win the battle, but that didn't happen. He prayed every night hoping that the cancer would go away, but it didn't it just got worse.

Liam always wondered why he was dealt these cards, or why Ellie had to die. Liam would rather die then having to live without Ellie.

And thats exactly what he was going to do. He wanted to be with her. So the only choice was to kill himself. It was an ugly subject to think about, but it was the only way Liam could be happy.
