His One Direction days were behind him, so killing himself would be okay.

Right?

He held the white chalky pills in his hands. As he sat against the tube in the washroom. A glass of water in the other hand. He had already wrote a note telling everyone goodbye and how he was happier. That note sat on the floor next him on a light blue rug.

Light blue was Ellie's favorite color. The sight of the light blue rug made Liam want to be gone even more. No one would miss him.

Right?

He rolled the pills around with his thumb letting the dust coat his palm. He didn't know what the pills were for nor did he care. Thoughts rushed through his head, causing his head to hurt. Ellie wouldn't care if he left earth.

Right?

He convinced himself that no one would care and that Ellie would want to see him. He looked at the pills one more time knowing that he was doing the right thing. Or at least thats what he thought.

He looked up at the ceiling and told Ellie that he loved her and that he would see her soon. He held the pills in his hand and made a fist and put his fist up to his mouth. He was about to open his hands when he head a faint voice say his name.

The voice was soft and sweet. Like Ellie's. He shook his head trying to get the 'voice' out of his head. The second time he put his fist up to his mouth he heard the voice again. This time it sounded closer. Like it was coming from inside the house. He quickly stood up and let the pills fall out of his hands onto the cold tile floor.

He stepped into the living room and grabbed the nearest thing to him, a lamp. The room got slightly darker as he pulled the lit lamp out of the socket. He held it in his hands ready to fight, as if a lamp was going to save him. He turned the corner into the fireplace room.

It was Ellie's favorite room. She loved to read books in the black leather chair next to the fire place. It seemed to help the pain go away, it made her fear go away. Her fear of dying. It took Liam every ounce of courage to step foot in the room.

He didn't look at the chair. He didn't want to pain in his chest to get worse. As he looked at the ground he heard the soft sweet voice again. They said 'Liam, I wouldn't want you to leave earth'.

The voice belonged to Ellie. But Ellie was dead.

Right?

He slowly moved his eyes up the chair and in front of him sat Ellie, but she was wearing all white and she had wings. She had a full head of blonde hair. She looked beautiful, a perfect angel.

He dropped the lamp making it shatter on the floor. Almost cutting his bare feet. He stepped closer to her. Was she a vision of his imagination?

He reached his hands out to touch her arm, but his hand went straight through her arm. He quickly pulled his hand away frightened by what just happened.

"E-E-Ellie?" He asked having a hard time choking out his words.

"Yes Liam its me" she smiled a rosy cheek smile. She looked full of life. You would have never realized that she had just died.

Liam for the first time since Ellie died, 1 month ago, smiled. An actual smile. It wasn't a forced smile, it was a real smile.

Only a smile Ellie could put on his face.
