After I told Regina how we met, Dew let out a gasp, and added,
Mom! What about the old Mysterious Cave in my stories that you told me when I was younger!
That was a fairy tale, her mother told her, it was all fake. I'm sorry.
Wait what is the story about, I ask, can you tell it to us.
Well, ok, Regina agreed, Once upon a time, in a world where mysteries were never solved, and where creatures that couldn't be explained lived, lived a little fairy horse. She was about five inches tall and kind of floated in the air and she lived with her mother. One day her mother got sick and told her daughter, go to the Mysterious Cave, it will give you something to save me.
Then Regina interrupted saying, I know, she is kind of selfish, but that's not the point. Anyways as I was saying...
So the little fairy went on a journey to save her mother. She passed through the Dark and Terrible Forest, through the Black Swamp, and finally stood in front of the cave. Crystals were lining the wall in big clumps of light. There was dust that floated around and got carried by the wind. She stepped in and it shut behind her! She was so frightened, it was so dark. But then a crystal lit up, then another, and another, and after one another they kept lighting up. The little horse was not frightened anymore, instead she was mesmerized by the view. Now that she could see, she walked through the cave and came upon a huge room with a giant crystal in it that towered above all. She did not know what to do, so she walked over and said, "Hello?". Then, a booming voice that deafened her ears screamed,"Why have you come to the great Mysterious Cave?" The the girl answered,"My mom is terribly sick and she said you could help.""Is that right?" The voice said,"Well, I can't. Now leave!", "But you have to help or she'll die!" The little pony cried."I do have something,"the voice boomed,"it is a magic spring that flows under the giant crystal, make a wish and drink from it, but the spring has five wishes, and I'll give you one of them so make it count!" The voice said as it softened and disappeared. The little horse ran to the spring, and wished, wished for her mother to be healed and to be healthy again. Then she took a drink. She walked home, and her mother was waiting for her by her house, healthy as can be-
I know what we need to do! Ash blurted, We need to go the Cave because there is four more wishes and four of us! We can each wish for something to help us out so we can defeat the Ground Hunters!
One problem, that is just a fairy tale, a hoax, a made up story! Breeze said taking the words right out of Regina's mouth.
"We can try, I told Breeze, I mean, its the last thing we can do. Do you know where the Cave is? I asked Regina.
It is on the top of Mount Mystery, I know what a coincidence. Regina answered with a little laugh.
Then we leave tomorrow, Ash shouted in excitement, while Dew was hopping up and down, like a little kid, in excitement as well.
           Lets get packing!
