A Fight Between Fire And Ice : A Natsu X Reader X Gray Love Story!

~Chapter Nine~

~Gray's P.O.V~

After the fight ended, I decided to head inside. Once I was inside, I went over to the job board. After looking at the different jobs, I decided on one who needed a wizard to stop a band of thieves from a dark guild. After talking to Mira, I headed out.

Once I got on the train, I sat down. But for some reason, I saw (y/n)'s reflection instead of mine. I shook my head, and then saw my own reflection. 'How odd....'

After arriving, I headed to the village where my job said to head to. As I arrived, I heard screaming. I rushed in, to see a band of thieves at work. I launched an ice cannon at them. Direct hit! Soon, the entire band of thieves were unconscious, and tied up. "Thank you so very much!" "You're welcome." I was then given my reward, and I started heading back.

But once again, (y/n) entered my mind. That's when I had to face the truth. I had fallen for (y/n). Hard to believe I had fallen in love. I decided that I'd visit (y/n) when I get back to Magnolia.

Around six pm, I arrived back in Magnolia. Instead of heading back to my place, I headed towards (y/n)'s apartment. Upon arriving, I heard crying. I then softly knocked on the door. "Hello? (y/n)? Are you in there?" I heard some feet shuffling, and the door unlock. (y/n) answered, but she looked awful. Her hair was tangled, and her make-up smothered, and she was in her pajamas.

My face instantly showed concern. "Are you okay?" She shook her head no, before crying once more. "Can I come in?" (y/n) nodded, so I entered. I then led (y/n) to her couch. I put my arm around her, and brought her in for a hug. "Mind telling me what happened?" "T-Today's the a-anniversary of t-the death o-of my s-sister..." "You had a sister!?" "Y-Yes. Her n-name was (S-Sister's name)." "I'm sorry to hear that."

After a while, (y/n) stopped crying. I'm surprised that she was so happy earlier, but now a sad, crying mess. I then realized she had fallen asleep. Wrapping my arms around her, I fell asleep, with my dear (y/n) in my arms.
