Chapter 4 Cameron's pov I was sitting in the house watching Netflix when my phone went off. I got up and went to see who it was. It was my ex. I was going to not answer but I was really sad so I answered.
"Hello" "Hey baby" "What do you want?" "You" "Why?" "Cause I miss you" "Fine you can come over my girl- ummm friend who lives with me isn't here" "I'll be over soon, baby" she hanged up. I went into the bedroom and layed down until I heared a knock on the door. I got out of the bed and went and answered the door. I opened the door and there she was Maia my ex girlfriend. She was the most adorable girl in the world but for some reason she wasn't the one for me. I kept thinking while we were dating that she was using me. Even her best friend Emma told me that she doesn't really like me and she was just in for the money which I never gave her but when I had to do the arranged marriage with Zakiyah she got pissed at me for no reason. It's not my fault her parents and my parents agreed on this. She was wearing a light pink dress with strawberries on it. I had to keep myself from drooling a little. She was like a little girl asking would you like some cookies. I let her in the house and she went straight to my bedroom. "Where are you going?" I asked. "To the bedroom" she said confused. "Why?" "Because you told me to come over" "No no no that's not why I wanted you here!" At the same moment Zakiyah came into the house. "Cameron...... Maia what are you doing here?" "Hanging out with MY boyfriend" she said. "Wait Cameron are you cheating on me" she said. "No I'm not I have no idea what Maia wants" I said "Bitch you can't be lieing to the poor girls face you know I came here for you" Maia says. I just stared at Zakiyah seeing the hurt in here eyes. I tried walking to her but she kept backing away until her back hit the wall. "You lieing cheating bastard!" she yelled at me grabbing her purse and running out the apartment. I stared at the door and I felt the tears start to prick at my face. "Maia get the hell out of my apartment now!" Maia walked out without question. In the corner of my eye I saw that she was smirking. What was int that evil tiny little girls head. Zakiyah's pov I ran to my car and unlocked it and slammed my door shut. I was crying in my car
when I heard a knock on my window. I looked up to see Aj smiling gently at me. I
rolled my window down while wiping my tears. "Hey" Aj said to me softly. "Hi" I said. "Are you okay?"
"Yea I'm fine just sad" "Why ZZ?" "Cameron's cheating on me" I said breaking down again. "It's okay honey it's okay" she said soothing me. I didn't even realize when she actually got in my car. She pulled me into her arms and held me softly as I cried in her arms. Cameron's pov I couldn't take it I broke down crying after Maia left. I was curled up on the floor balling my eyes out. I sat up from the bed when I heared the front door open and close. I rushed to the bathroom and locked the door. "Yo Cameron it's Aaron we need to talk man" "Go away, Aaron please" I said. He walked into the bathroom and saw me.
"Yo did Zakiyah move out where she at" "AARON GET THE FUCK OUT BITCH CAN'T YOU SEE I'M CRYING GOD" I yelled at him. "Sorry man" he walked out of the bathroom and I heared him leave my apartment. I continued to cry until I fell asleep. Zakiyah's pov I walked with Aj back to my apartment ready to talk to Cameron. When I unlocked the door it was quiet. I told Aj to see on the couch while I go see if Cameron was here. I tried opened the door to our bedroom but it was locked. I knocked softly. No answer. I knocked harder still no answer. I continued knocking until I heared a crash. I tried the lock scared of what was happening. Then the door opened scaring the shit out of me. "Damn it, Cameron! You scared me" I looked to see his eyes puffy from crying and his soft brown eyes broken with tears. My Cameron was crying just like I was. I reached for his face but he pulled away from me. He walked around me and sat on the floor next to Aj. My heart hurtled a little. I sat on the couch and I waited for Aj to speak but when I looked at her I could see she was also on the verge of tears so I decided speak first but Cameron beat me to it. "I'm sorry Aj about Aaron" why the hell would he be bringing Aaron into this. "It-it's okay he has a job to do" she whispered. I hugged her and then looked at Cameron. "I'm sorry Zakiyah also I know I know what I did was wrong but will you give me another chance please?" "Yeah I will" I said softly. "I also have bad news as well" he said. "Since I'm the star football player on our high school team I got excepted to the NFL. They said once I graduate I can start my training and once I get out of college then I'll be drafted." "Oh that's great" I said smiling. "The other thing is I won't be home a lot cause I'll be traveling a lot and we are going to have to get arranged marriage to so will have to do it now or never. My parents are all ready planing the wedding I just have to tell your parents" I felt sick to my stomach. "Are you sure you can't slow hpthis down at all?"
"No I'm sorry" why this have to me. I looked at him and smiled my most kindest smile
I could come up with at the moment but I was sure that minute now I was going to start crying and I don't want him to see that cause I didn't even want to see that or here it at all. Cameron's pov
This is a disaster. I just realized tha I do love Zakiyah and then I might be joining the NFL I want to but I really wanted to do the military less likely I won't get hurt playing a game. I got up from my seat on the floor and hugged Zakiyah. Aj got up from where she was sitting and said she had to leave. When she left Zakiyah sat together and just watched a movie. I was the best to just sitting together no drama no tears just me and my girlfriend. When the movie was over it was about 10:35 so I picked Zakiyah and took her to our bedroom where I layed her down. I could blow up the blow up bed so I slept in the same bed with her.
