Anne POV

I walk into work starting off the week all over again. Not the same routine, but the same job.

Which I would never quit from to be honest.

I love my job we literally don't have to do much other than doing a few articles here and there.

We are part of In Now Magazine (made up magazine tbh couldn't think of a better one. Comment one if you can). We cover anything going on in the world whether it be politics, social media, fashion industry, and anything eye catching for the public.

I work on fourth floor of this 6 stories high building. We have a great view of Hollywood here since we are in between LA and West Hollywood.

I get to my cubicle and leave my purse and go to the break room.

Every Monday our boss has a delivery junk food knowing we are all hungover, or just in the mood to munch in food.

I especially like the Starbucks we have delivered. I always grab myself a refresher or a frappucino. Today I'm feeling a refresher and a bagel with cream cheese. I grab those and some cheetoes to munch on later.

Once in my cubicle I see my cubicle neighbor, Lily. She's in charge of the sports section. She writes with passion having been before a lakers girl. She stopped cheering because she dislocated her knee cap once and had to be on leave for about a month and when she came back she found out the coach had been fired and her spot had been replaced with another girl.

Now she's just happy she has more free time to date and do things she has not been able to do.

"Hey Lils" I say

All of go out often. We go to concerts clubbing, parties, and especially private concerts. Juliette, a girl on the 2nd floor was promoted there but she's a friend of our has connections to get the best tickets. We also usually get them from the boss. She give tickets out to anything for free. Another reason I love this job.

"Hey Anne how was the packers party" she asks me.

"Great like always" I say.

She then proceeded to tell me how her newest boy toy of the week happened to be a guy she doesn't know his name but seemed vaguely familiar from what she thinks. After a while she leaves and I stay to start writing my article about the newest yeezy's coming out soon.

2 hrs later

It's currently 12:15 and Lily, Julie and 2 other girls that are close to us from the office are about to head out to lunch.

We all take uber and then take us back as well.

We stop at chick filla and start munching there.

"So girls anything big happen to any of you" Lily asks.

Esme quickly licks her fingers and drink a sip of her lemonade and says "guys gues show I saw this weekend"

I know who she saw because she posted on Snapchat she went to a rare Paul McCarthy concert. She also manage to meet him but let's see if any of these girls go on Snapchat.

"Oh my god did you see Justin Bieber" Julie says

Esme nods her head no.

The other girls then start blurring out answers while I lean back and cross my arms over my chest a smirk adorning my face and let them try to guess.

"Okay well you guys suck, I saw Paul McCarthy and even meet him" she finally blurts out.

They all murmur a cool and oh

I just finally chuckle and continue eating.

Then the rest start saying they went clubbing or just took a weekend to themselves.

They ask what our plans are for this weekend me obviously free until.

"Hey guys so my cousin had gotten tickets to see the 1975 this Friday so I wanted to know if you guys wanted to know it's 4 enough for all of us" Julie says

I nearly spit out my drink. It was luckily avoided but chocked which made me start coughing.

Once composed I say "Julie please tell me you aren't joking because the 1975 are life"

"Obviously not when have I bailed on us. I've taken you guys to see one direction, 5 seconds of summer, troye Sivan, even magcon. And that was an accident because my sister responded to my cousins text saying I would want them. So who's in" Julie says.

"I am" "count me in" are heard. But the I am mostly heard by me.

"So we'll meet at my house today after work to discuss more details it's Friday by the way" she says.

So I guess I have plans for the weekend now.

Well hello beautiful people reading my book right now. I hope you liked this chapter I'll try to update tomorrow again but I may be working from 3:00 till 5:30 or 6:00. Depends on what they have us doing.
