W-why Meteli? Soon I started crying and cupped my face with my hands. Skylar said that the townspeople must've escaped because there was a large plank of wood they use on boats to let people get aboard the ship. Also the docks looked as if a ship was tied to them put roughly pulled out of the docks. Skylar soon said that she needed time to herself..... Soon enough I heard crying....
Skylar's POV
No not Meteli, I wonder if Cadenza and Hayden made it out alive. They mean the world to me..... They are like my family. Since Meteli and Scaleswind were so far apart they made a proclamation that the two kingdoms would stand together during war... I must go back to Scaleswind the Lord and Lady wish for me to rule since I am a leader they cannot lose.......Literally, I cannot die through sickness and in health...... I started sing a song that mother and I sang together all the time because I didn't want to be a dainty little princess I wanted to be a warrior..........I wanted to be a hero....... Cue ze music!
