(2) Retreating

We enter the mall and head straight for hot topic.

"Welcome to hot topic how May I help you?" a very girly clerk asked, people like her shouldn't work here it makes me sick. She flips her blonde hair and leaves when we turn around sending us a dirty look.

"Hmmm, do you like this one?" Blaire asks shoving a pink skull belly ring in my face.

"For you? Yeah, I don't have a belly piercing, and I prob won't get one!" I giggle as I look through the rack of batsman goodies. My eyes settle on a batsman bikini that's my size. "DIBS!" o screech and pick it up examining it.

"Way to kill my ears." I hear Blaire mumble.

"No worries! " I giggle.

After a round of going through everything I got five things, the bikini, a hello kitty beanie, lilac nail polish, fishnet leggings, and short shorts that say EPIC in blue bold letters. We paid and started skipping through the mall singing" WE'RE. OFF TO SEE THE WIZARD THE WONDERFUL WIZARD OF OZ BECAUSE BECAUSE BECAUSE OF THE WONDERFUL THINGS HE DOES!" totally off key until we reach the food court.

We walk up to the McDonald's counter and are greeted with a cheery old lady.

"Welcome to McDonald's. how May I take your order?" She asks politely.

"Um, can I get a forty piece chicken nuggets, two Oreo milkshakes ,and two large fries?"

"Will that be all?"

"Yes ma'am." I answer politely as she goes to get our order. Two seconds later she comes back with a tray filled with our order. I smile as I take the tray and thank her, as we paid before she gave us the order.

We sit at an open booth and open the chicken nuggets box.

"HEY VIOLIN!" an all to familiar voice rings in my ears.

"Ignore him." Blaire whispers.

"Mind if I join you Violin?"

"Not at all scumbag" I hiss through clenched teeth.

He pulls up a chair and sits down and plants both feet upright on the table.

"So... how's it going VIOLIN."

"Very perfect Ace. I'd ask you too but I don't care."

I hear a bunch of o's and look back at his friends "shouldn't you guys be in school you guys have zero brain cells I think you need more."  Blaire looks at me while Ace scoffs.

"I'd say the same to you but sadly you're a nerd."

"You don't now me." I growl and leave with Blaire close behind.

"What are you doing?" She asks.

"Retreating."
