They set off into the forest, trying to stay positive, but everyone was super worried. Piper started biting her nails, and soon they were jagged and pointy stubs. Suddenly Piper stopped dead in her tracks. She didn't move or breath, because puddled at her feet was a trail of dark red liquid. Blood. Gabby gasped, Mal gawked, and Ivy didn't seem to care. Piper glared at Ivy. "How could she be so heartless?" she thought to herself "She doesn't even care." "Well, now we know where to go..." Mal said optimistically. "What is that obnoxious noise?!" Ivy said.Then Piper could hear it. A small noise, sounding like, "floof floof!". Piper followed the noise, and was lead to a small, puffball with eyes and little cloud wings. It was white with a little bit of blue. "Floof floof" it said. "Awwwwwww!" Piper whispered. "Hi there cutie! What's your name?" Piper asked the fuzzy little creature. "Floof Floof A Doof!" it responded.It flittered up onto Piper's shoulder, and cuddled up next to her neck. "Hi Floof Floof A Doof! May I nickname you too... Carli?" "Floof!" Carli chimed. "Floof!!!" Carli fell off Piper's shoulder and and face planted. She waddled and and stumbled, then remembered she could fly. She flew on onto Piper's shoulder, and said "Floof!" Piper looked at everyone else. "I guess we have a new friend!" She told them. Carli flittered up once more and flew about. "She says that she can help us find our friend." Mal translated. "You can understand her?!" Gabby exclaimed. "Lets not get distracted again."Piper reminded them and turned to Carli "Ok Carli, lead the way!" She said to the little creature.
