"I don't want to lose you (Y/n/n)." Robert said looking at you with sad eyes. "I don't want to lose you either, but this is my dream Robert." You had recently gotten a letter from a college out in L.A saying that you've been accepted to there to major in (whatever you want to major in). The only problem is that meant leaving Canada, and your best friend/boyfriend, Robert.
"I know it's your dream, and I'm excited you got in. But what about us? What about me?" He said. You sighed and shook your head. "This isn't about you Robert. Look I don't want to leave you either, but this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and I can't just say no. I thought you would understand. I, I thought you loved me." A few tears fell, making Robert feel bad a little. "I-i do love you (Y/n), I just-" "If you love me, let me go." Robert sighed but nodded. "Okay, I'll let you go. Just promise one thing." You looked at him and nodded. "Promise me that you'll come back to me. That this isn't the end of us. Okay?" You smiled and nodded. "I'll come back. I promise."
--TIME SKIP--
Robert's P.o.V.
I was dropping off (Y/n) at the airport. I still can't believe she's actually leaving. But she's right. If I love her, I should let her go. I looked at her as they called her flight. "Don't worry, we'll see each other again." I nodded and gave her a soft kiss. We pulled away and she gave me a small smile. "I love you Robert." She said walking towards her plane. "I love you too." I whispered.
