I panted and heaved, each breath of air coming out in a puff of white smoke as I dodged and made my way to the open ground, crouching in the snow as it piled up by each snowflake. I caught my breath as the breez blew in my face as I listened out for sounds of movement. *crunch* *crunch* I held my breath and sank lower, looking for any means of escape. My heart pounded with each crunch of the potential predator, my eyes them trailed over toward the forest, pine trees covered in the powdery snow. I waited, and waited, and at the last second, I threw a snow ball at the predator and ran, I heard him grunt and turn to look but before he could spot me I was already climbing one of the pine trees as silently as I could. I calmed my heart and watched down below amused, he was looking left and right, his raven hair looking messy and unkept.
I decided to scrape some snow off of the branch of the tree I was on and I balled it together. Pine and bits of wood wedged into the ice as I compacted it with my hands. I breathed on it and cocked my hand back, sticking my toung out as I aimed for the perfect moment.

Ready.

Aim.

FIRE!

I catapulted the snowball right for his head, the ball of pine, wood, and snow loosing bits and pieces as it rocketed from my hand. Then right as he turned around, the snowball smacked him right in the face, knocking him right off of his feet kicking up snow as he fell backwards with an "oof,"
I quickly moved from my spot in the pine tree to another one beside it. I watched as he sat up confused and dazed, but then his expression turned fierce. I just giggled and slowly scrapped more snow off of a branch, balling it up like before and catapulted it toward his knees. Once it hit, he grunted and caught his stance once more after staggering a bit. Then before I could move places I was struck in the face by a snowball. I was dazed and dizzy before I clung onto the tree for dear life. I shook and my breathing was heavy but I soon calmed down and clung onto the tree for dear life.
I silently cursed and paused every few minutes I made my way down, pine and pieces of small sharp wood scratching my arms and face as they grazed by. But just as I was about to step down another branch, it snapped and I fell. But don't worry, all I did was fall a foot deep into layers of cold, freezing, snow. I heard laughing to my left and I crawled out of my own snow hole, shivering, to see dad laughing at me like some maniac(oh wait)
I climbed out of the hole all the way and I was extremely cold,I couldn't even feel my hands nor my toes, so that's why it didn't hurt when I slapped dad upside the head. but he just kept laughing and led me inside for a well deserved break. "You know, you're really good with the stealth thing kid, Maby next well practice on the actual weapons, how does that sound?" He said, ruffling my red untamed hair. I nodded and rubbed my arms for warmth, watching the white cloud of my breath dissipate as we walked inside the warm cozy mansion. Even though the ouside looks ruff the inside is actually pretty tidy. We both sat down and cuddled up inside the blankets that sat along the couch in the living room. "Hey, what kind of weapon would you work with red?" Dad said, his crooked Cheshire smile turning into a confused one as he used his nickname for me. "Um, I'm not sure actually, but I would probably want something that could do maximum damage, but less of a mess. Don't you think?" I asked, not really sure what I actually wanted.
"If I were you, I wouldn't ask that question to me, cause I love the mess, as well as the maximum damage." He responded, looking back toward the tv that was playing a criminal mystery type of show.

*little more into the show, ps. All characters I talk about are made up*

"NO SHE DIDN'T!" I yelled at the tv angrily. "She couldn't have she was so sweet and nice! Elizabeth couldn't have killed mat!" I continued, not believing what was happening in the show. "Well, I kind of expected it, she seemed a little 'to sweet' if you ask me." Jeff said, shrugging as he finished his statement. I just huffed and crossed my arms, continuing to watch as Elizabeth was given a life sentence in prison for brutally killing the mayors son. "Case closed, court dismissed." Said the judge, making everyone quiet down. "What? NO! I DIDN'T DO IT, I DIDN'T, TRUST ME!" Elizabeth screamed, tears flowing down her face as she pleaded. "You have the right to remain si- "NO! JUST LISTEN TO ME, I COULD FIND PROOF THAT I DIDN'T DO IT, I COULD!" she continued, getting louder and louder, but then she did something that I hadn't expected. "If I can't be claimed innocent, niether will anyone else." She said shakily and hoarse, kicking the guard behind her in the nuts and clocking the other in the face with the first ones gun that she grabbed. She then aimed for the judges head, and fired-. "come on down to red lobster to taste our sizzli-" "DAMMIT!"

(Sorry this was a short chapter, I just wanted to get this in so I wouldn't be procrastinating like I usually do......all the time ;-;)
