Nightmare
"Hey Suga, I know that you said you were busy today. But work was busy and stressful, so I wanted to know if you had time to hang for a bit" I laughed nervously, knowing that he was probably going to groan in annoyance, sigh and then give in to my puppy dog eyes. But as I opened the door with the spare key he gave me a few weeks ago, I noticed that the apartment was silent.

"Maybe he's out. I should've guessed so, he did say he was busy today" I sighed, placing my bag on the bench and plopping down onto the couch. I picked up the remote to turn on the television, but I stopped in mid action. Realising that there was a glass of lemonade with solid ice cubes bobbing around in the delicious substance on the coffee table in front of me.

"This is fresh, the ice hasn't even melted yet" I thought, placing the remote back down quietly. Something wasn't right here, I even felt chills running down my spine.

"Suga?!" I spoke in almost a whisper, hoping that he was here, hoping that he could here me. I slowly stood up and looked around. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary, not until I saw flames coming out from under his music room door.

"No!" I thought as I rushed to the door. "I pulled on the handle but the door wouldn't budge.

"Damn! It's locked" I hissed at myself, I wasn't sure on what to do. Then I remembered my keys, he also gave me a key for this door. I wasn't sure why he even got a lock for this door, but he would always remind me that it was to keep his most prized possessions safe, in case he ever got burgled from. I pulled open my backpack and searched for my keys, grabbing them and rushing back to the door. I struggled to calm my nerves, my hands shook like crazy and I was beginning to cough from the smoke coming out from under the door.

"Curse this!" I growled in frustration. I finally was able to get the key in and unlock the door. But as I opened the door, flames burst out and I fell to the floor immediately, to avoid getting burnt.

"SUGA!!!" I screamed out into the room as I crawled slowing past the doorway. His desk was almost down to ashes, pictures were shattered and black like charcoal. I looked at the bed and my eyes widened. The bed was the main source for the fire and that's where I could see his body, it was on fire. I couldn't help him though, his skin was melting off and his clothes were no longer there. I stood up, I didn't care about the smoke, I just needed to get out of there. I couldn't watch his body burn. Tears started to stream down my face, I was crying and I wanted to scream in agony so badly, but nothing would come out, like as if I had lost my voice.

"AHHHHHHHH!" I screamed within the walls of my own mind instead.

"I was too late" I thought.

"I couldn't save him, I was too late to save him!" I began to yell at myself in my head.
