Chapter 33

Land of Neon and Levitation
Vanessa P.O.V

                You woke up with a large groan escaping your mouth. You opened your heavy eyes and saw floating colorful orbs floating above in the sky that varied greatly in sizes from small like a pea to the size of a house. Neon leaves filled your vision as it focused with bright white tree trunks. Your hands felt the ground as if it was like rubber and squishy. You sat up and your bottom sunk slowly on the ground as if memory foam.

                “Could this be…?” you wondered, as you tried to get up off the ground.

                You stumbled on your feet, trying to gain balance on the unstable surface. You scanned down on your body as you saw the new you. Your shirt was different and your skin was whiter than your nice tanned skin. You looked at your palms that were pale white.

“Didn’t know this can happen,” you stated.

You looked around you noticing all the trees and leaves. You had a feeling of being watched. You heard loud crackling wood and you turned your head quickly. Inside the white woods that surrounded you was pitch darkness that lingered. The hair on your neck rose and chills trailed down your spine. You squinted your eyes as your new colored orbs focused inside the woods.
                You heard a faded giggle that echoed in the woods. Your eyes popped open and you froze in place.  You breathed in a deep breath and silently called for you bat from your strife specibus. It popped out and landed in your hand. You tightly wrapped your hands around the handle and put it close to your side. You slowly walked towards the woods with the bat armed and ready. Each step your foot sank in the ground making you bounce a little like walking on a trampoline.

The giggling proceeded, but it sounded from another area. It was behind you. You turned around quickly, but you stumbled and fell. You bounced up from your bottom colliding with the rubbery surface. The giggling gotten louder and more started to be heard.

You spun repeatedly as you looked around the woods. Then, from the crowd of white trees, a small, green glob bounced towards you. It was a gooey, green glob that had bright neon yellow eyes. It bounced and floated in front of you with a big smile.
