Will The Elements and Love Be Enough

Twenty one years ago

(Duncan POV)

“Run my love, just keep running we can’t stop or they will find us” Duncan said. “Duncan I can’t go on much further my water broke” said Claire. “Oh honey we have to keep going tell u start to crown, if we stop now they will find her” Duncan said. As they kept running the enemy was getting closer and closer to finding them. Finding a spot to stop for a few minutes as he was hearing his wife start to whimper. He turned to find her squatting down with the baby half way out of her body. He watched a she gave birth so proud that she did this all on her own as he had to keep watch for the clans trying to kill them.

He watched the light dies from her eyes as her life started to slip away from too much blood lose. Getting her to lay down he put the baby into her arms while whispering soothing words to help her passing. He knew there was nothing he could do to stop her death but he had to fight to keep her memory alive with their child. “Duncan, Duncan my love go, go before they find us I’m already gone I can’t hold out much longer take her and go while I hold them off” Claire said.

Giving his wife a kiss and taking the baby from her arms then getting to his feet hearing the thunder of feet above his head he took off. Turning back for one last look at his wife watching as she let lose the last of her power. She look magnificent. Fire moving all around her forming her into her one and true form then seeing as water consumed her life. Turning back he raced of using all the air energy he could to fly them some wear safe.

Take off was not as he had hoped. Shots of ice flaying at him and his daughter he tried to shield her as best as he could taking hits to his back. Losing blood faster then he knew he had to land seeing and open back yard he hit the ground rolling hearing a woman’s scream he lost conciseness holding his baby girl tight to his chest hopping she would be ok.

(Pamela POV)

Watching my boys running around the back yard was the funniest thing ever. All you see is four balls of fur rolling round. I turned around to head back into the house and my husband was on his way out to the grill. Suddenly I see this body falling out of nowhere “OH MY GODDESS! James!” I screamed as I ran for my boys.

(James POV)

Hearing my wife scream my name I was running towards the intruder shifting at the same time. When he hit the ground I skidded to a halt seeing the crest ring that was on his hand clutched to his chest. “James! What’s going on where did he come from is he still alive?” my wife asked as she ran up from behind me. As I shifted back I checked his pulse finding that is was so slow I was surprised that he was still alive. We had to get him to the guard now. Seeing his chest move realizing something was in there I lifted up his coat flap finding a baby fast asleep. “Oh goddess Pamela its ok come here” I said to my wife. She whimpered when she saw the baby. “Sweetheart I need you to take the baby to your mothers now I have to get him to the guard hospital now, and call the elders this is bad really bad” I told her. Whoever that man was hopefully would not leave my family worse off than they were now. If the war started then all hope was lost………..
