Things were about to change in Storybrooke. This was the day, Rose and Rumplestiltskin, well mostly Rose had been waiting for. The queen had powers and something happened to disrupt her powers. Now was their chance. Rumple's alias was Mr. Gold in Storybrooke. Rose was at Golds shop. She was pacing. "Are you completely certain this is what you want. There are other ways you know to rule. The town's people don't know much about you, your past or that Regina is the evil queen. What if the spell was broken?" Gold asked her to see her response to the questions. He knew what she had planned, but they had to be certain and take the plans one step at a time.
"You mean the curse? How are we supposed to break the Curse? If I did that then everyone would know who she truly is." Rose pondered as she walked around. "Gold, that is a great idea. Then everyone would see, but then the Charmings would be also Royals. They don't know that yet either. This curse of hers is exactly what she wanted. She is going to pay for what she put us all through."
Rose was at her breaking point, Gold could tell. He wasn't accustomed to this. Sure he's has his dealings with lots of people in his past. She was much different though then all of them. She was almost as powerful as him almost his equal in fact. She was immortal after all. Just hasn't lived as long as he had. She had seen many wars though and things be destroyed due to corruption.
"I'm sure there is a way. Perhaps some lunch first? And we can research later?" he mused. Gold just enjoyed listening to this woman with her plans. They usually involved him in them, but it made life fun at least.
Rose was strangely calm with her words. "She has to have a weakness. Something that would make her give up everything. It would have to be something dear to her though. I suppose I should learn more about the town and what she holds dear. It won't be easy though, I'm sure she has protection spells put all over her place. Only we have time on our sides though." Rose was rather talkative today. It helped her to talk her plans out. Gold was easy to talk to and a good business partner.
Change was needed and soon.
"I didn't come over just to talk about Regina, though. I came over to invite you to dinner at my house. Just the two of us." Gold was flattered. He knew he wasn't very popular because of his past dealings. No one knew that other than Rose and Regina for now.
Rose was different. She accepted him for who he was. "Well dearie, it seems you are the first to ask me. Usually I'd be the one asking."
Rose waited for his answer. What would it be? She thought to herself.
