Is Rumple okay?

Was there someting wrong? He was acting stragely. "What is going on? Are you okay?" She was concerned.
"Dearie, I'm flattered you are concerned over me. I am quite well except for one thing." He was going to tell her his feelings. He had never let himself be vulnerable. He only showed it to her and only when it was just the two of them. "I'm not very good at this, but I see you more than just a business partner. I want you to know, I am madly in love with you. No one can keep me from you. I didn't think it was possible for anyone to love a beast like me. You've shown me that it can happen. Being in Storybrooke, has changed me in ways. I'm still me of course, but I have a new lease on life if you will."
Rose was stunned. She did not think of this man to be a beast.
They had their own roles that they took on while in town. He was the person that she enjoyed being around the most. In a way he was her best friend. They did do many things together. Would this change things between them though? Of course it would. She would be marrying the man who has become her best friend over time. Weird how time changes things and feelings. Life would be full of adventures.
"I am the happiest man right now." He was overjoyed, but his expression quickly grew into concern.
"You know what this means right, Dearie? You know I have made some enemies in my past. Which I am not proud of, but I was a different man back then. Of course, I am still me, but this place is different from the Enchanted Forest."
I saw his look and it was my turn to respond to his worry.
"We've all made mistakes dear Rumple, I pity the person who tries to come after you." I snickered. "You see you may be the Dark One, but me, I've got two sides. One nice and one not nice side."
Rumples expression softened. "I see what you mean dearie. The person who decides to do that will be a sorry one in fact. How does it feel to be powerful and have a powerful partner in crime?"

I had to admit it felt pretty good to have all this power, but what to do with it? "Well Rumple, I am due to be a Queen in my homeland, what do you think of being my King? Could you rule a place with me at your side and be wealthy?"

He pulled her close."If I remember correctly, I asked you to marry me and I believe that was a yes. It looks like you get a Dark one who will be your King, as long as I have my Queen by my side. I've never ruled in a royalty position of power before, so I will need to be taught what happens in your homeland."

"We can do anything as long as you are by my side. I won't be leaving your side ever as long as I live and breathe."
