I wonder if he's here today.
   "Hey, Lil'."
I turned around to see Jason standing behind me.
   "Oh, hey." I said.
"Do you need a ride home?" He asked.
   "Uhm, sure." I replied.
We walked to his car in silence. As we got in, he started the car and cranked up the music.
It took me a moment to realize that he was singing along to "Living on a Player". His voice blended so well, that I thought it was the same person.
I smiled, not wanting to interrupt his singing.
That's when I heard the honk of a car horn.
    I opened my eyes.
He was on top of me.
    "Jason?" I croaked.
I realized that we were laying in the car. Upside down. The car was destroyed and we lay within the destruction.
I felt a sudden jolt of pain in my side. The was a large piece of glass protruding from my side.
    I looked at Jason.
    He's not breathing.
    I blacked out.

                                    {~}

    I woke in the hospital.
"Finally! You're awake!" Aunt Jane said.
    "What happened?" I asked.
"You got in an accident, dear." She said.
An accident? I don't drive... I wasn't driving. Jason was. Is he okay?
    "Jason?" I mumbled.
"He's stable. You have no need to worry." The doctor said as he came in the door.
"But I saw him! He wasn't breathing!" I yelled.
    He smiled.
"He's fine. We did surgery to remove some glass remnants from his body. He is recovering well." He said.
"Can I see him?" I asked.
"Sweetie, you're not in any condition to see anyone." Said Aunt Jane.
"I need to see him!" I said.
"I'm fine." Jason said from the doorway.
"You're not supposed to be up." The doctor said.
"I had to make sure Her Highness was okay." Jason said, a grin forming on his face.
    "...Her Highness?" I asked.
"You don't like it?" He asked.
    I blushed.
    He smiled a kind smile.
"Her Highness it is." He said.
