Chapter 2

Maka's POV:

As me and Kid left the house, Kid told me about a mission he was going on. I told him Soul and I were going on a mission with Black*Star and Tusbaki to somewhere in the desert. Don't get me wrong I really like Kid but there is just something I love about Soul. Wait did I just say love?! Do I really love Soul?

"What's wrong Maka", Star said as he ran up to me. Kid also looked a bit confused.

"Oh it's nothing", I say stuttering. "I was thinking about a guy from my book."

"Oh really", Liz and Patty said at the same time. Only Tusbaki and they knew about my crush on Soul.

"Yes it is", I laugh as we walk up to the school. My dad was waiting outside with our really destinations. Before Dad said anything to me I took our file and hugged him.

"Maka is something wrong", everyone asked shocked. Dad hugged me back and handed Kid his file and walked off.

"No, but I felt like giving him a hug today", I said smiling as Soul rode up. "Star meet us at the Cafe."

"Ok", Tusbaki smiled at we rode off. We rode down to our favorite Cafe.

"So where are we going", Soul asked getting off the bike and sitting at our favorite table. Becky our favorite waitress saw us and started making our drinks.

"Star and Tusbaki will be here soon", I call and open the file. "We're going to a small village in the middle of the Sharia Desert."

"Well that's cool", Tusbaki and Star said as they walk up. Becky brought us our drinks and we all grab our drink.

"So when are we leaving", Tusbaki said.

"We leave tomorrow around 8:30 am", Soul says looking at the file.

"Aww man, this God needs his beauty sleep", Star says groaning finishing his drink. We talk for a little bit about random things. Star and Tusbaki walk off holding hand and I jump on the bike behind Soul.

"Soul", I ask putting my head on his shoulder.

"Yeah", he asks as we pull up.

"What would you do if I did this", I lean forward and kiss him.
