They don't want you stupid boy. Your a lost cause. A tall shadowy beast wearing a happy looking mask walked around Erin's room." I'm there only son. They love me." Erin sneered at Coribus referring to his parents who were both away in rehab.
Then why are they not here with you? To hold you? Ah to love you. Coribus changed his voice to match what Erin' s mom sounded like. He clasped his long clawed hands together." Can you shut up?" Erin shook his head violently.
Oh I could. But I don't feel like doing it today. Coribus faced Erin his long sleek tail lashed out behind him. Erin looked out the window. It was the first day of school and Coribus was guaranteed to follow him.
So, not talking I see, well maybe I could find a way to... cheer you up. Coribus rested his claws on Erin' s shoulders as he looked into the tall mirror in his bedroom.
Coribus shuddered. His shadowy form turned into a boys physical appearance, however, his eyes stayed the same cruel white color. He threw on a pair of sunglasses to hide his inhuman eyes. We're gonna have fun johnny boy ha ha ha ha ha ha. Coribus also made his voice deeper and dropped the wispy, scratchy sound Erin was used to hearing from him.
Coribus smiled at himself in the mirror. Transforming into a human was his favorite thing to do. It made him feel powerful.
At school
Erin opened the main doors to the school building. Oooo. This place is fancy eh? Coribus looked up at the lights and frowned. Never was one to enjoy the lights company. Coribus growled and tossed his hood over his head." Just be quiet. People already don't like me. And don't draw attention to yourself." Erin glared at Coribus. He smiled under his hood, sharp teeth flashing white.
Only you can see me, remember. I'm your demon. Coribus hissed gently." Then why disguise yourself as a human?" Erin walked down the hall to his new locker. Kicks. It gets boring being the same thing too long. Coribus stuck his head through the locker, looking like a cliché ghost from a horror movie. Hey hey hey what do we have here? Coribus pulled his head out of the locker holding a magazine." What is it?" Erin snagged the magazine from Coribus, hoping no body had seen him grab a floating magazine. It was a porno magazine.
"What the fuck Coribus. Don't get me expelled already." Erin quickly threw the magazine into a nearby trash can. Live a little. Man your too uptight. Relax. No ones gonna get ya. Coribus walked in a circle around Erin. The bell rang throughout the building. Come on buddy boy time to go to class. Coribus gave Erin a quick push. Herds of people came swarming around him all at once.
Erin pushed passed the mob and eventually made it to class, but not before the bell rang. Man. Late on the first day. Now that's a bummer. Coribus smiled maliciously. Erins heart began beating faster and his breathing grew heavy. What are you scared? Go into the class you dumbass. Coribus leaned his shoulder against the wall.
Come on you little bitch grow a pair. Why the hell are you so scared? Erin' s head was throbbing and it hurt." Just shut up!" Erin yelled at Coribus. He only smiled showing his sharp teeth." Are you alright?" The teacher looked out into the hall at Erin." I'm fine." He folded his arms over his chest and tried to hide his face as he walked into the classroom. Students were whispering in groups and giggling as Erin sat in the very back of the classroom with Coribus not far behind.
"Why do you torment me?" Erin whispered as Coribus sat in the empty seat to Erin' s right. Simple. Your vulnerable. And it's fun. Coribus shifted back to his original form. He crossed his claws over eachother. His stare was as cold as stone. Erin tried listening as the teacher introduced himself and began a quick lesson. The sky had turned grey and bland. Class soon ended and Erin was off to his next class, math.
You really are pathetic. I almost pity you. Ha ha ha ha. Coribus crawled up the lockers and up to the ceiling. Erin looked up at him, but quickly focused his eyes back to the floor.
What's wrong? Are you mad at me? Coribus fell from the ceiling in front of Erin, landing gracefully on his feet. It was getting harder everyday for Erin to just ignore Coribus. Erin walked passed Coribus and went to class. Again, Erin sat at the very back of the classroom.
Coribus took the seat beside Erin and stared at him. A girl walked into class. She had long brownish red hair and grey eyes. Something followed her into class. It looked like Coribus only its mask was red and white. Coribus hissed and the other demon hissed back at him.
Serafeena. I thought you already killed your host. Coribus grinned crazily. Demons like to refer to the people they torment as their hosts. The demons main goal was to make them commit sucide. Like your any better you dick. The demon was a female. Erin could tell because the voice seemed softer, but still wispy.
The girl sat in front of Erin." Hey. Can you see them," Erin asked the girl pointing at the two demons. She must have noticed Erin staring at Serafeena." Yeah." The girl smiled in relief." I thought I was the only one. She's been following me for a long time." The girl frowned looking at Serafeena." Same here. Coribus won't leave me alone. Anyway. What's your name?"
Erin found this new girl interesting. Especially since they both had saw each others demon, which wasn't common." Amber." She scratched at her wrist. The sleeve of her shirt slid up to reveal a few cuts.
She quickly covered her wrist and looked back at the bickering demons." I'm Erin. It's nice to meet you." He offered his hand to Amber. She smiled warmly and took his hand. The bell rang again. Time was flying by. Coribus followed Erin to every class. At lunch, Erin sat with Amber. They talked and got to know eachother a little better while there demons were fighting. Erin walked home with Coribus at his heels.
Another day. Another tomorrow.
