Erin was startled awake by a sudden bang close to his head. He looked up to see Coribus banged his clawed fist on the head board. GOOOD MOOOORNING VIETNAM!! Coribus laughed and continued to bang on the head board and scream." Would you please stop you asshole."

Erin sat up and was face to face with Coribus. No. I'll stop when your dead. I can promise you that.

Coribus smiled and danced around the room." Asshole." Erin got dressed and brushed his teeth.

Coribus was pacing back and fourth in the bedroom. Don't speak to that girl today Erin. Coribus tucked his tall dark ears back and growled." Why not?" Erin balled up his hands into fists and glared back at Coribus.

She doesn't care about you. She's only your friend because she feels sorry for you. You mean nothing to here. Your simply a boy with a demon who will die soon. Coribus flexed his clawed hands. Erin felt tears sting his blue eyes. Coribus is wrong.

Amber does care about you. He's just trying to get you to kill yourself. You have to ignore him. Erin took a deep breath and walked down the stairs. Coribus crawled down the railing like a cat. Coribus looked like a tall sleek shadowy man. He often wore masks with different expressions on them.

His eyes were pure white with three pupils in each eye. Coribus had a long tail and horns like a gazelle. Erin walked passed the living room where his grandparents were watching the news.

Erin walked out the door and put in his earbuds. He turned his music up all the way. He listened to his favorite song car radio by twenty one pilots. Coribus followed beside Erin and sneered. Your music is garbage. Coribus hissed snatching the earbud out of Erin's ear." Fuck off. It helps me a lot." Erin put the earbud back in his ear.

The sky was cloudy and grey. A single rose laid in the middle of the sidewalk. Erin turned his music off and put his earbuds away. He picked the flower up and examined it. The petals were a soft pink. His mind immediately went to Amber.

Coribus took the rose from Erin's hand. It turned from the soft pink to a harsh black. Coribus grinned as he handed the black rose back to Erin. Don't think of giving the flower to that pathetic creature. Erin took in a sharp breath." You need to stop being such a dick! It doesn't matter anyways. Guess what Coribus. She doesn't like normal things." Erin continued walking to school.

Watch your tone boy. Don't forget who runs this show. Coribus lashed his tail forward and whipped the back of Erin's head." Your just scared." Coribus tilted his head sideways." You know that if you don't complete your little mission you'll be punished. That's why I'm not committing suicide. So just stop trying. Your wasting your time." Erin grinned at the look in Coribus' eyes.

That's where your wrong boy. I'm here to make your life a living hell. And from what I can see, I'm succeeding. Erin glared at Coribus. He held the rose tightly in his hand. He took the rose as a sign that everything was going to be okay. He would live. He would survive. And Coribus would leave forever.

At school

Erin looked for Amber, hoping he could find her before the bell rang. He basically ran through the halls as he searched for her. Coribus crawled on the ceiling following Erin all across the school. Other students were staring as Erin looked everywhere for Amber. He stopped when he heard crying coming from the girls bathroom. Erin's stomach turned.

Slowly he walked into the bathroom to see Amber sitting on the white tiled floor. Serafeena stood over her. You dumb bitch. Just kill yourself already. Your worthless. No one loves you. They don't care about you. They never will. The demon growled and hissed. Amber held a bloody razor blade in one hand. Both of her wrists had four slashes that were bleeding heavily.

"Ahhh! I hate you! I'm done with everything! Your a fucking bitch Serafeena!" Amber took the blade and made a quick deep cut in her neck. She took in a deep breath and saw Erin standing in the doorway of the bathroom." Amber!" He ran and held her in his arms." Oh shit! Oh shit! I need to get you to the hospital." Erin lifted her off the floor as blood poured from her neck. Serafeena laughed and danced." You bitch." Erin glared at the demon before he ran out of the bathroom. Many of the students gasped in the hallways. But no one ran with Erin, even Coribus was no where to be seen.

Erin burst outside and gently set Amber down on the steps outside. He grabbed his phone and dialed 911 as fast as he could." How may I help you." A women's voice answered the call." Um. My friend cut her neck and she... She's bleeding everywhere. Come to hillside high school
please hurry!" Erin was hyperventilating and shaking badly." We'll send an ambulance right away."

The women hung up the phone. Erin held Amber close to him as her breathing slowed down." Erin. I'm sorry. I'm so so sorry." Ambers voice was low and shaky." It's okay I'm going to help you. Here." Erin remembered the rose and gave it to her." I know how you don't like normal things." Erin's eyes watered as she gently grabbed the rose." Thank you." Her eyes closed and she dropped the rose at her side. Amber had stopped breathing.

"Amber! Amber! Please Amber don't die! I love you! Please don't die! I need you! I care about you more then myself, please don't leave me." Erin hugged Amber's body tightly. Tears trailed down his cheeks as he kissed the top of her forehead.

Serafeena appeared behind him. It's too late boy. Her soul is now mine. Serafeena took her clawed hand and wiped it across Amber's face leaving nothing but a blurry mess." No! Stop! Please just stop!" Erin cried as he heard the ambulance sirens drawing near, but they were too late. Amber was already dead and her soul had been stolen from her.
