"Zura!" I yelled, running after her. "AZURA STOP!" I shouted. She ran right into the arms of some man. "Hey you," I screamed, running even faster, "Put her down dammit!" I got right in front of him and stopped, swallowing hard. Lord jesus, this was a very fine young man standing in front of me. I swear oh everythang I'm about to collapse.

I took in a deep breath. "Thank you." I mumbled, as he looked down at me with an eyebrow raised.

"You should really keep your kids close to you. Bad mothering skills."

"First of fucking all, you don't know anything about the way I raise kids. Second, this isn't my daughter, she's my perfect ass damn right fucking NIECE."

He smirked down at me, "I'm Travis."

"Good for you." I rolled my eyes, and placed the kid leash backpack thing on Azura. "No more running away from Auntie okay baby?" She smiled and nodded her head.

"Sorry Auntie Laywa."

"So your name's Layla?" I heard him ask.

"Why are you still here? I mummbled.

"Well, seeing as I just helped you, I was going to invite the both of you out for lunch."

"No thank you." I said, pushing past him.

"Please?" He begged, trailing behind me.

"Why!" I yelled, wide-eyed, turning around. "Why the hell do you wanna fucking take us out so bad?!"

He looked around, and came closer to me, "I don't know who the fuck it is that you're yelling at. But I've been nothing but damn right kind to your ass. I know I've seen you somewhere and I just want to get to know you. But dammit you're very fucking annoying with that stubborn shit." He said, his chest rising up and down quickly.

"Fuck you." I whispered, staring into his eyes. I wiped my face with the back of my hand, because I knew a few small tears had escaped my eyes. I picked Azura up and placed her on my hip, walking away as fast as I could. I stopped when I reached the 4 way street. Looking around I spotted a nice cafe, I glanced inside and saw a kids playground. "Zura, you wanna go in there?"

She happily nodded her head. She turned around and pointed at something. I moved my head a little to the right to see Travis headed this way with a look on his face that I could tell meant he was upset. It wasn't that Travis was ugly or anything, far from it. He had nice light caramel skin, piercing hazel eyes and black hair with a patch of blonde in it. And he honestly only looked about 17, but I'm sure he was older.

"Layla, where do you work?" He asked me, walking beside us.

I sighed and looked both ways, crossing the street. "I'm a stripper."

"I knew it!" He said, feeling proud.

"Ooo , No. Good bye Mr. Travis, enjoy your day."

"What is your problem?" he asked, opening the door when we got to the small restaurant.

"Thank youu." I mumbled,  walking inside and standing in the waiting area.

"For three?" One of the waiters asked.

"No."
"Yes."

Travis rolled his eyes at me, "Yes, for three please."
I groaned under my breath,  and followed the waiter to a booth on the other side of the restaurant. There wasn't too many people in the place, it was a nice place, calming, with a darker paint plan.

"Your waiter will be with you soon."

"Thank you. Can I get a booster seat also please? " He nodded and brought one back.
