She stayed silent, holding her knees closer to herself to conceal her abdomen. 

"Marinette! Talk to me!" Chat pleaded.

"Why? There's nothing to talk about!" Marinette shouted.

Startled by hearing her daughter's voice, Sabine ran up the stairs and listened by the door.

"Nothing to talk about!? Marinette there is a lot to talk about! For starters, why have you been locked in your room for a week?!" Chat yelled.

"That's none of your business!" Marinette dug her nails into her skin.

"Yes it is! This all started when I found you crying in the bathroom!" Chat hopped off the bed.

"It's nothing Chat Noir! Leave me alone!" Marinette snapped.

"No! I will not! Something's up and I wanna know what it is!" Chat seethed.

Marinette jumped off her bed, her left fist clenched, her right index finger jabbing Chat in the middle of his chest, "I said it's nothing! And when I say nothing, I mean nothing! So drop it and leave me the hell alone!"

"Why? Why do you want me to leave you alone? Marinette, I can help you," Chat intertwined their fingers.

"No, you can't" Her expression softened, "Can you please just go?"

"Just don't shut me out permanently okay?" He pouted. 

She stared into his teary eyes, "Okay."

"I love you princess," He kissed the top of her head, releasing her hand. 

She smiled and watched as he went to the trap door. 

"Chat! Wait!" Marinette called.
