::Hey yo, Ratchimo, I need a bridge please.:: Bumblebee comms to Ratchet and as soon as it appears he walks through. ::The others back from their mission yet?:: He asks and Ratchet shakes his helm.
"No not yet." He says and Bumblebee smiles. Suddenly Ratchet realizes what he's just said and starts smiling too.
"Bumblebee!!" He calls out.
::Ratchet!!:: Bumblebee replies and they both run up to each other and do an awesome handshake that they'd made up when Bumblebee was recovering from his voice incident. It consists of them fist bumping, Rat get throwing a wrench at him and Bumblebee hugging Ratchet. They start laughing.
::Hey, want to go set up some pranks for the others?:: Bumblebee asks and Ratchet nods.
"Only if you promise to let me blame it all on you." He says and Bumblebee agrees. It had been a while since they'd both been alone at base together. And by alone, I mean no bots and no kids. Once they were done setting up their pranks, they went up to the top of the base together. They sat on the cliff top in silence for a moment before it was broken.
"So, what do you think of earth so far?" He asks and Bumblebee looks at Ratchet.
::Uh, shouldn't I be asking you that question?:: Bumblebee jokes and they laugh.
"Okay, but really... what do you think?" He asks and Bumblebee sits there for a moment, without saying anything.
::Well, I love it. It's amazing here and the humans are great... But of course, I do miss Cybertron a lot.:: he answers, looking down a bit. Ratchet sighs and hugs Bumblebee.
"I miss it too..." he says and Bumblebee nods.
::Gee Ratchet, I couldn't tell...:: He laughs and Ratchet just shakes his helm. They both sit there and watch as the sun starts setting. Bumblebee was about to say something before Ratchet got a call.
::Ratchet, we require a bridge.:: Optimus says and Ratchet replies with an okay. He sighs.
"Well, it was nice to get a chance to just chill with you for a while Bee." Ratchet says and Bumblebee smiles and nods.
::Yeah... well let the annoying begin then.:: Bumblebee laughs and Ratchet rolls his optics.
"Yeah yeah, don't tough anything." Ratchet says and Bumblebee laughs. Well, things seem to be back to "normal" between those two for now. See more in the next chapter of: Ratchet and Bumblebee: Besties for the resties!
