Chapter 2: What? Not angry.

*2 Hours later*

River's POV

" I can't believe you two were not together.." she looked at me giving me a blank look.

Fuck, she's angry.

Just give me a hint Zoe, Are you mad at me because I was sleeping with your roomate ? Are you pissed ? Are you angry ? Just give me a hint.

I was expecting her to scream, to  shout, to slap me , to give me the bird..you know just bad things.

But then, I was surprised because she..she she laughed.

" Oh- mygod..." she laughed, her face being completely red,that I kind of saw Colton worried.

" what's..f-funny? " I asked confused.

She looked at me,and tried to keep a serious look but failed and bursted of laughing.

" I can't believe that you and Lia were..fuck budies I mean..I thought Liana was.." she glanced at the ceiling,trying to find the appropriate word to use.

" pure " spoke Colton, wearing his usual bastard smirk.

" Exactly, didn't know she was the kind of girl who sleeps around "

" So,you are not mad? " I asked, my voice full of hope.

"Should I be?" She grins.

"Don't worry,I'm not River " she smiled then turned back to look at Colton,puts her hands around his neck as he puts his around her waist. 

                                                           "You knew, didn't you? "

He nod.

what an asshole.

" And you kept it from it? " she leaned closer to him.

"Sorry babe,bro code "

And the making out session started, I felt uncomfortable for many unknown reasons...

Am I jealous?

of what exactly?

of love?

Sometimes, I just want to have this unique person. that person you will call " my girl "

-That girl that you will cuddle with on a Sunday afternoon.

-My Zoe.                                                Just that girl, that I will love so much.

But no, I'm not jealous. I can't be.

" please,not in front of me " I said faking hurt while they giggled.

" Sorry " They apologised in union.

"By the way, Colton..I need you man "

" Are you gay? " Asked Zoe.

"What no? I was sleeping with your roomate remember..I can't be gay..you guys have some dirty minds,just ugh " I explained.

"right" she agreed.

" what do you want then? Look if you want me to go visit your Grandma again,it's a no "

"Chill man, I had a flat tire..And you know I'm not really into mechanism..So,I thought you could help me " I tried to give him one of my best puppy eyes look.

"Don't" he cleared his throat. "you look disgusting"

" So is it a yes? " I handed him my keys.

He took them and snapped "Just this time pal "

Zoe took her phone from her hand-bag " Waw,9 messages from Li..she must be very depressed...she said she called you 3times and you did not answer.."

Huh? she called me..I didn't hear it..I search in my pockets for my phone..But it was nowhere to be found.

I instantly started to panick,you know those crazy attacks when you can't find your phone, and you're worried as hell because it's all your life.

That's what I'm living.

And then it hit me, three words.

forget __ phone __ taxi.

I forgot my phone in the taxi.

What a fucking way to end a beautiful Thursday.
