Cerys during court

I listened as Jade was called up and placed her hand upon a bible to swear she would say the truth. She picked at her nails nervously.
"Jade why were you at Lindseys? the night of the 30th of July" a man speaks and paces in front of the court room
"Me and Cerys were invited to keep Lindsey company as her parents were in a meeting" Jade replies inocently
"But what a coincidence it was how the Bailey household set fire the night you stayed at Lindseys. Do you know anything about that?" The man asks casually and looks over at Jade who put on a fake shocked face that seems to be fooling everyone.
"No;" Jade almost sobs " Is Anghard ok" Jade asks sadly and a few crocodile tears fall down her cheeks
"So you had no recollection of that happening until tonight" he asks flatly rasing an eyebrow
"No poor Anghard" Jade replies sadly.
"Will you please go over one more time how Lindsey sustained her injuries?"
" Lindsey and I found out about Cerys'es plan on murdering Angharad and that she had successfully killed Flow and because we found out her plan she probably became threatened and had strangled Lindsey before turning on me and punched me in the face breaking my nose" Jade stated sternly.
"So all of this is your sisters fault?" the man questions
"Yes" Jade cries.
The judge hands Jade a box of tissues and Jade takes one and briskly blows her nose.
"You can go take you seat" he tells her; Jade slowly goes back to her seat and when she sat down the judge calls me up.

"Cerys Dunken please" I stumble up and place my hand on the bible and swear to say the truth just as my sister did the the questions started.
"Cerys can you say why your sisters states you were the cause of all those tragic happenings?" the man asks flatly
"No" I reply sternly.
"Why were you over Lindsys the night of the fire at the Bailey household?" he asks nostalgically.
"Like Jade said we were invited over" I say in a wobbly voice.
"Did you plan to murder Angharad? the night you were invited over" the man asks more sternly and moves his brown hair from his eyes he glares at me darkly wiling for me to say the truth. So I do hoping I wont get in to much trouble.
"Fine I will. Me and Jade made a plan to burn down Angharads house that nigh we weren't invited over to Lindseys we showed up knowing her parents weren't home. Later on when Lindsey found out why we were both there she kicked us both out Jade we furious so she knocked on Lindseys door and pounced on Lindsey strangling her and threatend to phone the police so she broke my phone I became angry and punched her Lindsey stood back up and called us both crazy so Jade punched her so hard she fell and became badly hurt" I speak loudly and as confidentiallyas I can.
"So you did want to kill Angharad then" he stares at me with questioning look.
"And so did Jade and by the way she is the one who killed Flow she told me the day after it happened " I say loudly and glare over to Jade who is sobbing out her fake tear and shaking her head looking at me in disappointment.
"If thats the case why didn't your tell the authority this straight away instead of letting your mother take the blame for it?" He asks sternly
"Because I wanted to protect my sister" I mumble loudly.
"You can go and take you seat" the judge tells me.

The time goes quickly as they question all of our family and friends and teachers and all the other families. Then we wait for them to make their verdict I become so nervous when they come back through the door looking stern and professional and hand a note to the judge I shutmy eyes and try and go into my own world I don't want to hear this but then then I only hear my name the rest of what he says becomes a slurr.

I instantly stand only to find my legs have turned to jelly and my hands have become sticky with sweat. Two guards come up to me.
"Will you come with us please" they ask gently and place their handd on my shoulders I will my self to follow and manage well as they take me to an almost empty room they do talk to me on the way but I dont hear them over the ringing in my ears.
