Chapter 10

At the sea, Nefarious is gripping onto Ratchet's arm dragging him.

"For now on you'll be my slave and work for me." said Nefarious.

"Nefarious, stop!" Alister comes in a nick of time pointing his wrench towards him. Cora crosses her arms and glares at Nefarious.

"Well, Azimuth. What a surprise." said Nefarious.

"Alister!" Ratchet shouted. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to run off! I'll never do that again!" Alister looks at Ratchet in sadness before glaring at Nefarious.

"Don't you see, Alister. Ratchet is mine now and you know it!" Nefarious yelled.

"You better let him go or I'll make you." Alister's wrench glows.

"Not a chance!" Nefarious yelled.

At the surface, Talwyn is in a boat which she rows towards the sea where Ratchet is taking.

"I'll find you Ratchet..." said Talwyn.

Down at the sea

"Let me give you a condition. You give me your wrench and I'll let go of Ratchet." said Nefarious as Alister looks down at his wrench, then he glances at Ratchet.

"Alister, please don't..." Alister closes his eyes and hands the wrench to Nefarious which he laughs manically. Ratchet swims towards Alister and embraces him. As Nefarious is laughing, he receives a cut on his arm from a knife which he looks up to see Talwyn.

"Talwyn!" Ratchet yelled.

"You..." Nefarious growled as Talwyn swims up to the surface with Ratchet and Alister. Nefarious' anger turns into rage as purple smoke spirals around him.

At the surface, Cora, Brax, Elaris, Ratchet, Clank, Talwyn and Alister are gathered.

"Talwyn, you have to go!" Ratchet yelled.

"I'm not going to leave you." Talwyn told as he noticed a giant version of Nefarious which he has a deep voice.

"Nefarious!" Alister yelled.

"It's time to die, squisies!" Nefarious yelled.

"Look out!" Brax yelled as he sees Nefarious' hand pounding into the water which they dodged it. Nefarious uses Alister's wrench to make storms and waves which it swept up Talwyn.

"Talwyn!" Ratchet yelled.

"We have to find someway to defeat him!" Cora yelled as he noticed a missile being shot at Nefarious's hand, letting go of Alister's wrench.

"Take that, you evil man!" Ratchet looks up and sees Qwark.

"Qwark!" Ratchet shouted in surprise.

"You're welcome citizen." said Qwark as Nefarious growls at him which Qwark got scared and ran off, leaving Ratchet faceplaming in annoyance. Alister grabs his wrench and it shrinks back to it's normal size.

"That belongs to me!" Nefarious yelled as Alister's wrench glows.

"You want my wrench, I'll give it to you!" Alister yelled as he fires a electric blast from his wrench, hitting Nefarious in the heart. Nefarious screams in pain as he sinks into the ocean, leaving Ratchet and the others covering their eyes from the glow. 

At the shore, Talwyn crawls to the beach and collapses after the battle. Ratchet smiles and embraces Alister along with his friends.
