Riley's POV
Today I had my first scan, I am 12 weeks pregnant. Maya and my mom was with me.
"C'mon Riley up here" the nurse tells me
I got up and she squeezed extremely cold gel on my stomach, causing me to shiver.
"So, here is your baby..." She points to the machine
"Awe!" Mrs. Matthews say, her eyes glossy
Maya was teary eyed, her niece / nephew was in there
"Would you like to hear the baby's heartbeat?"
"Yes please" I say quickly
The baby's heartbeat filled the room, everyone was in awe.

Maya went home, and I was so tired. I plopped down on my back, taking my vitamin. I then covered myself with the blankets falling asleep.
The next day
Riley's POV
There was knocking on the Bay Window. I rised from the bed and sleepily walking to the window. I pulled it up opening it, yawning.
"Riley" Maya called, I got back in bed covering myself up
"Yes, Peaches..?"
"We need to talk.."
"Can we sleep first?" I yawned again
"Alrighty" Maya gets in the bed behind me and we fall asleep

I checked my phone it read 8:23 a.m. I looked over at Maya who's eyes flutter open.
"What is it you needed to talk to me about?" I asked her
She reached in her hoodie's pocket and showed me a positive pregnancy test.
"Who's is that?" I asked, confused, scared, and excited
"M - mine" She says looking down
"You and Lucas, did it without protection?"
"I told him to -" She say sighing, she eventually started crying
"I know -" I pulled her towards me, hugging her
Maya's POV
After I was done talking to Riley I climbed down the fire escape, and called Lucas.
"Lucas, can you meet me at the park in five minutes? It's urgent"
"Sure, babe"
He might not take this well.
