I was rolling around in my desk chair working on some paperwork when JJ walked in to the room and called out,
"New case!"
I set down the pen I had been fiddling around with and followed her. Once we settled around the round table, Garcia started, "My beautiful beings.. I've got a harsh one for you." She passed around the victims files and pictures of the crime scenes.
"Six vics?" I ask bewildered.
"And we are just now being called in?" Finished Morgan.
"Bodies started turning up a month ago but they had a suspect in custody but he had a solid alliby so the released him a couple days ago and more bodies were found. Our first victim, Collins Pierce. Twenty-six, died from blood loss but was tortured for presumably eight days. Autopsy reports signs of sexual abuse and infected ligature marks around the vics wrists and ankles. He has stab wounds and cuts all over his body, along with burns from branding irons and what appear to be cigarettes. He has bruises all over his body also suggesting that the unsub beat him. Cause of death being a cut to the throat. What is odd though, is that there are no found fingerprints on his body. He was found stripped of his clothing in an abandoned hotel by some teenagers. The others, Samantha Matthews-female:eighteen, Bethany Brighton-female:twenty-two, Corey Gilbert-male:twenty-one, Franklin Hunt-male:twenty-five, and Nicole Weller-female:twenty-three, we're all found similar to Pierce but in different abandoned locations."
"Is there anything else?" I ask curiously. Of course I knew that Pen had told us was enough to connect them, but I felt like something was missing. Like a mark or something.
"Actually there is a word carved into each vics abdomen." Bingo. She passed around the picture of the word. "Revenge?" Reid asks questionably. I look at him and shrug, "Well that gives us something to go on. Now we know why he is hurting these people. But how are they connected?" I say, studying the pictures and papers more. "Well now that this actually seems like a pretty big problem, we'll go check it out. Wheels up in forty." Hotchner said looking around at all of us. "Wait, Hotch. Where are we going?" I ask him. He looks down at his paper and says something that echos in my brain.

"Beacon Hills."
