"Where did you go?" Was the first thing Scott asked. I sighed and rolled my eyes.
"Virginia. Next?" I said. It's been a minute in here with them and I was already ready to leave. It was Lydia that talked this time,
"Where is your daughters mother?"
I didn't answer for a couple seconds.
"In a cemetery."
"How'd she die?" This time it was Malia.
"I think that's enough for now. I've got to go do my job. " I turn around and leave the room so fast, they don't even get a chance to say anything. I enter the first part of the questioning room and see Reid standing there listening to JJ talk to Hayden.
"What have we gotten so far?" I ask him.
"He must be from around here because she recognized him but she couldn't put a name with his face. Blond male, late 20s, well built. She said he kept mumbling about his brother? How 'they' would know what it feels like now."
"How did she get away?" I asked.
"She hit him over the head with a rock she grabbed while on the ground. She took off and he tried to keep up with her but she was too fast. She ran here since she was only a couple blocks away and her sister was here." He explained quickly. After he said that, the girls walked out of the room. Hayden saw me and gave a tight lipped smile. She gave me a quick hug and left, quietly saying she was going to find Liam. I nodded and watched her leave.
JJ sighed, "well now we basically have half the profile. I'll call the rest to meet us here?" Reid and I nodded and we exited the room. I bumped into one of the deputys on my way out of the room.
"Oh im sorry officer..." I waited for his name.
" Oh uh Officer Brighton." He said. He was young, only about my age. Something about him gave me a feeling but I didn't know what it was. I shrugged it off and left with a nod and a 'nice to meet you'. Unfortunately there wasn't another room we could set up in so we were out in the open at one of the desks that was unoccupied. Something kept pulling at me to look at the files again, so I did. There was something about the names that were bothering me. Like I had recognized them before. I put the files down and started looking around the station at the deputys working on paper work or walking around. I look to my left and read the name tag. Hunt. Hmm.... that sounded familiar. All of a sudden, a man walked into the station up to Gina. I started to stand up and slowly go towards them.
"Kent you know you can go back home. It's fine." Gina tried to get him to leave. "It's been a hard week. For all of us and you know that just as much now. Get some rest."
"But Gina. I heard about the attempted kidnapping. They think it's the same guy?" 'Kent' questioned.
Gina sighed, "Yes. But go home. Rest."
"Now I know I might not be able to help my daughter anymore but I want to catch this son of a gun that's doing this to our families!" Kent says, his voice a little louder. But then something processes in my head. That's it.
"Sir?" I question, "are you one of the officers that works here?"
He calls down a bit and nods at me.
"Officer Weller." My eyes get wide and I realize that im right. The team needs to get here fast.
