Chapter 2

Zoey's POV

After I answered, I decided to help Ash clean up a bit. So, I helped wash the dishes.

"What time will your family be here?" I asked.

"6:00pm. Oh my god, I need to shower." She answered nervously.

"You go ahead I'll finish up, Ashford." I said.

"Thanks!"

As I finished up washing the dishes and undusting the furniture; I decided to go change into something more suitable for the occasion. I slipped on a nice knee length, light pink dress and some heels. Then I heard the doorbell ring.

"Ash, they're here!" I shouted out to her. I then answered the door.

"Hi!" I greeted with a smile.

"Hello" Ashford's dad (Mr. Schultz) answered expecting to see his daughter; I could tell.

"Hi! How are you doing Zoey?" Asked Mrs. Schultz.

"Great, thank you! Come in Everybody." I said as I opened the door wider. I watched Mr. And Mrs. Schultz walk in and then came Zack; Ashford's brother and his friend Joshua! That's Ashford's Ex! I don't think she expected him to come! Oh my god! I'm so nervous now. Ashford wanted to avoid him today, not have him over for dinner! This is going to be rough!

They greeted me and then walked in. I then led them to the kitchen and told them to have a seat.

"Ash will be here in a minute. She's changing." I said as I began to finish cooking some pasta. I then turned around looking for a wooden spoon and notice Josh wasn't in the room. Oh No! I should have never said that! God!

Josh's POV

After Zoey led us to the kitchen I decided to ask:

"Where's Ash?"

"Ash will be here in a minute. She's changing." She answered. As soon as she said that, in a split second I made my move to her room. I peeked into her room.... She wasn't in there. So, I knocked on the door.

"Come in!" She answered from her bathroom. I then walked in to see her doing her hair. I hid outside the bathroom, watching her.

Ashford's POV

I heard someone knock, and I swore I yelled for the person to come in... I waited a few seconds but no one came in that I know of. So I decided to go check the door. As soon as I walked out of the bathroom...

"Hey babe!" Josh said as he slammed me to the wall. He made a bunch of blankets fall right from above me! They were sitting on a shelf.

"AH!What the Heck? What are you trying to do Josh?" I scolded as I tried to escape from him but his grip was too tight.

"Look babe, I'm sorry about Friday... at the store, ok? Could we just get back together?"

"You never learn do you?" I responded as I tried even harder to escape.

"Ash come on!" He said as he pins me to the wall even harder.

"Ugh! Let me go Josh! I swear if you don't..." I yelled as he cut me off.

"Fine, be that way! But remember love, your mine and always will be! This discussion isn't over!" He yelled as he released me and I fell. He then rushed out of the room.

"Ugh!... I'm not yours, Josh!" I yelled back. Then I walked back over to the kitchen and acted like nothing ever happened.

"What just happened back there?" My mom asked.

"Well..." I said until Josh cut in.

"I just went to say Hi to her." He said as I rolled my eyes.

"Sure you did" Zoey whispered as she winked.

"Anyway, how's things going, love?" Dad asked.

"Their going ok. By the way, I've been searching for a college and I haven't been able to find one besides the University of Central Florida. " I answered.

"Well we've already decided that one for you!" Dad responded "Your going to London for your College years!"

My mouth dropped! This is crazy! I never wanted to go to London for my college years! Where in the world did this idea come out of?

"What? That's crazy!" I yelled in shock. "I want to stay here with you guys, not leave! And why London anyway? That's so far out!"

"Well your mother and I were thinking that since Joshua is going to go there and you already know him; that you should go there! Besides there is the best quality education there and you already know someone that would be going there!"

My mouth was still dropped! They want me to go because Josh is going? What the heck!... I decided to just go along just to please my parents...

I looked around before I answered and saw Josh giving me this delightful look. Oh god! I roll my eyes at him.

"Great! I'm completely excited! Can't wait!" I said. Then I see Zoey's mouth drop.

Zoey's POV

"When is she leaving?" Zoey asked.

"Oh, she must start packing tomorrow because we already set her flight on Saturday." Mrs. Schultz answered.

Oh my god, I can't believe they are sending her away so soon! It's on the day of the concert! No!

"Oh... Um... Ok... Great. I'll help her..." I answered.
