Chapter 18

As I step outside, the cool breeze hits my face. It's so refreshing! I try to relax but the two vulgar sights I have just seen, won't leave my mind! I can't believe Nina fell in love with a guy like Nathan! I mean he's soooo.... Rough looking and.... oh my god... his eyes look exactly like Harry's. Now that I think about it his whole facial structure looks like Harry's!

I was then interrupted from my thoughts, by a familiar voice.

"Hey babe."

I turn around quickly and instantly my heart rate begins to race in fear.

"Josh!" I yell, as he smirks.

He then begins to walk towards me, as I back away slowly, across the front lawn.

"H...how did you find me?" I ask.

"Didn't I tell you, already? I always know where my girl's at." he winks.

"Oh... ha,ha.... yeah...." I respond backing up faster, because he's coming towards me faster.

He then starts to dart towards me; as soon as he noticed I'm about to run, he stops.

"Hey, don't be afraid. I just want to talk babe. I know you don't trust me anymore, but I love you. You always took care of me, and I know I'm the one that hurt you. Just please remember how happy we were together." He says as I notice his eyes watering.

"Josh,... I can never forgive you...for what you did to me." I respond in a shaky voice, as I know my eyes are about to water down as well.

"I know, Ash. But could we just at least try and not be enemies. I love you." he says as a tear comes down his cheek. He then reaches his hand out for mine.

"I...I...Fine." I answer as I grab his hand and he leads me inside.

He seemed so helpless...but I don't understand why I ever agreed. That still doesn't feel like a true reason to be friendly to him...I feel like I'm going to regret this...

"So, how's your living style with Nina?" he asks.

"Good. I just wish that Nina and I could spend time shopping together, so I can get to know her better." I respond as we past the crowds and walk towards a hallway.

"But you already know her, Ash?"he says confused.

"I did until I noticed her new style for boyfriends." I say half laughing and he burst into laughter. I love this side of Josh. Josh really can be the sweetest guy on earth, but sadly, after what he did, I don't think I can get back with him... ever.

"How are you doing?" I ask.

"I've been fine but,...." he paused as he looks towards a door ahead of us. It's opening quickly and a bunch of guys begin to run towards me!

"Ash RUN!" He screams.
