I've been in the desert for about 24 hours, and still no sign of my mother coming back for me. With no hope of thinking that my mother will return I got up, and started walking. I refused to stop until I saw road.
*2 hours later*
After hours, and, miles of walking I finally touched road. But that meant I was close and yet far away from any stores.
_______________________________I looked up and saw that I reached a motel six; Hopefully I can get cleaned up.
"Hi sweetie, are you lost? Are you alone?"
There was an awkward stare between me, and the check in lady. She was already in her winter stage. Aka:old.
She then decided To try to talk to me but I couldn't really understand.
"What's your name sweetie?" She asked.
I wasn't not really good at any other language, but Spanish.
"Como te Lamas?"
I started giggling because I knew what she had asked for in English, I was just to shy....
"Sophia." I softly replied.
"Sophie that's such a beautiful name. Come on..."
"We'll check if your one of the missing kids." She added.
I took her hand and followed her down the hall way, and into the right there was a wall with a lot of pictures of kids.
"Son tus hijos." I asked
"Oh no bebes no."
I then realized that they were all missing kids.
They each had a number on the bottom. She must think I got kid napped or something.
